@@carlpainter9950 The reality is that Biden isn’t going anywhere and Trump is a threat to our Republic. It is a fruitless, misguided discussion to consider another candidate, at this point. Biden has clearly stated that he is staying in and has performed well since the overreaction to his bad debate performance. A replacement process would have had to start a couple years ago with Biden’s participation- if it were to ever even have a chance. Replacing an incumbent who has done a respectable job- is a stupid strategy to seriously consider- unless the actual point is to support Trump. Sen. Bennet and Clooney- and others spending time on this with less than four months until the election- are out of touch.

They knew before the debate that Joe would be the nominee and that he's been so popular with majority of the voters, that's why they chose not to run anyone against him for a second term. Even Republicans like him because he is a center left. If they thought he wasn't capable of doing the job someone would've said it a while ago in the Senate or house. Trump entered the debate on Biden's terms. No audience, muted microphones, friendly moderators. But Tapper and Bash laid back and allowed the debate to proceed without much interruption. Some have suggested that a word went out to allow Biden to falter, because some factions within the Democrat ranks want Biden to be replaced before the election.

You really should invest a little time in watching a few videos from Praeger U. They can be found on KZread. "The Inconvenient Truth" about the Democrats and Republicans. I would also recommend "A Short History of Slavery". And what does that statement say about your critical thinking process? "I've lost all faith in this, but I'm going to vote for it anyway."
