  • @gd8205
    @gd820512 күн бұрын

    I have Parkinson’s. So does Biden. I’m 44, diagnosed 15 years ago. I’m unfortunately an expert in the disease and can identify it easily in others. Watching Biden, I’m looking in mirror. Btw, Sometimes my meds work, called being “on”. Sometimes they don’t, “off”. On or off is near impossible to control. I can literally go from off to on during a conversation (like the debate). Because of on/off nature, he will pass a cognitive test if he’s “on” and it will be used to say he’s fine. But if he took the test when “off”, he will not do well. He might even switch between on/off during the test. That’s how unpredictable this disease is. Ask me how I know… Voice and speech changes are common in people with Parkinson's disease. Some common difficulties include: * Speaking softly or in a reduced volume * Using a monotone voice * Slurring words * Mumbling * Stuttering or stammering * Hoarseness or a strained quality * Breathiness * Uncertain articulation Bradykinesia is a clinical term that refers to slowness of movement, or speed hesitations and halts that occur as movements continue. It can affect voluntary motions, like what you tell your body to do, as well as automatic or repetitive motions. Bradykinesia is a common symptom of movement conditions like Parkinson's disease (PD), and can make everyday tasks difficult. In Parkinson's disease, hypomimia occurs when a lack of dopamine in the brain prevents facial muscles from working as well as they used to. This can make it difficult to smile, raise your eyebrows, or express your feelings, and can sometimes make it look like you have a blank expression In people with Parkinson’s, cognitive deficits may become more severe and impact daily functioning. Similar to slowness of movement (or bradykinesia), people with Parkinson's disease often report slower thinking and information processing (termed “bradyphrenia”) Fatigue is a non-motor symptom of Parkinson's disease (PD) that can feel like a deep physical tiredness that doesn't improve with rest. It can make it feel impossible to move, as if you have no energy. Fatigue can occur at any point in the course of PD, whether movement symptoms are mild or severe.

Why is noone listen???? Now lack of insight is adding to his symptoms which is the reason why he hammers the opinion that he is the best equipped /only one who can win Trump. BUT Its NOT about what good Biden has done in the past and its NOT about him, it is about the future of democracy and if project 2025 wil come to fruition - what terrible vision, help us all..... I dont even live in the States but follow it closely and am horrified by whats happening there,it will effect us all, I do hope democracts can somehow figure out a solution to this dilemma. Not only being concerned for the people who live in America but also those abroad - radicalization gaining traction can very easily spill over to other countries, and we're already seeing (far) right gaining popularity across the Europe (not sure about other regions, I live in Europe so I follow it more closely here).

    There was another attendee who was on NBC who compared the security from this event to a similar event 4 yrs ago that took place at a small airport 5 miles away. He said 4 yrs ago, he & his daughter were amazed when they got to the venue, looked around & on the rooftop of every hangar, there were multiple law enforcement with long guns standing watch. The daughter remarked to the father how safe she felt. Fast forward to the event yesterday, he said he got there & the 1st thing he did was look around to the rooftops of buildings around there & he was stunned when he didn't see a single law enforcement officer on any of the roof tops. Was it the difference between him being a sitting president then & he's not now? Possibly. But I thought they are very careful in protecting former presidents, too.

  • @gandalfgreyhame3425
    @gandalfgreyhame34258 күн бұрын

    The type of Parkinson's he's talking about is old people's Parkinson's, caused primarily by multiple small lacunar infarcts in the basal ganglia, mainly because of chronic mild to moderate hypertension, which is endemic in high stress jobs. I'm a neuroradiologist, and I see these small lacunar infarcts on MRI scans and CT scans in old people ALL THE TIME. If you do even a simple neuro exam on old people over 80 years old, a lot of them will have this rigidity in their extremities, manifested by a ratchedy movement when you try to bend their elbows back and forth freely. IT IS VERY COMMON IN OLD PEOPLE. Often, it is relatively mild, and many old people never realize they have it - they and their families just think they are slowing down because of old age. My dad developed these very same symptoms when he hit 90 years old and was diagnosed with Parkinsons. He went from being able to drive a car to being progressively immobilized and rigid like a statue, and eventually died from complications of his progressive immobility to the point where he could no longer feed himself. It's important to differentiate this old person's Parkinsons from the other manifestations of this disease. For instance, Michael J. Fox has the more classic version of Parkinson's Disease, thought to primarily originate with degeneration of the substantia nigra instead of infarcts in the basal ganglia. The classic Parkinsons Disease usually starts with a resting tremor, which is not so common with the old people's Parkinsons. Because the substantia nigra and basal ganglia primarily connect to each other, the two kinds of Parkinsons also share common symptoms, like the rigidity and general slowing of speech, mask facies, etc. Parkinsons can also be associated with other neurogenerative disorders, like Lewy Body Dementia, which Robin Williams had, or Multiple System Atrophy. Dr. Pitts is 100% right with his diagnosis. You can spot this Old People's Parkinsons from across the room, and a brain MR would show multiple small basal ganglia infarcts.

But everyhing else was there, the stiffless, the shuffling gait, the hoarse weak voice, the wooden face, the freezing and the blind stare, moments of confusion and cognitive and verbal collapse whoch got longer and longer. It all got worse for four years until he had a heart attack which killed him. He was an awfully nice person and it was very sad. As the doctor says, Pres. Biden is a classical case. Biden was in cognitive decline when his ghost writer interviewed him in 2017. Those videos were valuable, historic recordings. The writer deleted them when questions arose about the Hur interviews. There is only one reason I can imagine to delete those valuable recordings and risk prosecution for spoliation: Hiding the truth.

    ABC donates to the Trump campaign. This is why they are saying this! Don't you get it, they want trump as president. This doctor has all his credentials in order, but he has never examined Biden, ever. He is a wannabe TV doctor. Just like Dr Oz and Dr Phil. He is a political hack! Corporate America wants trump because he will give them policies that favor their bad business practices. C'mon people. think about it.

    Joe Biden is a war criminal. He should step aside, but he should also be before the Hague. So should Trump, Obama, Bush, etc. Of course, they won't ever be held accountable though. The US needs to do better in every way.
