I always wondered if they can somehow reverse the damage done, now I know that apparently it can be done. Last day me an my mother were talking just about it, we had this discussion about how there are way too many people with inflated lips and if they still have them maybe it can't be reversed but I guess it's them just not realising it.

I, too, am glad they're showing this. My sister has the overbuild presentation but is happy with this. I'm 65 and very uncomfortable with looking like anything much is done to my beautiful genetic presentation... A gift from my parents (or biology, if that suits). I barely have any filler in my lips. No one can tell and I even get compliments from my family, whom I've not told, about how healthy I look. Just my take. Like they say, opinions are like... And everybody has one.

I don’t think it’s even that people are trying to build their lips. We were told that fillers dissolved on their own in 6 to 12 months and that’s probably the main reason that we kept going.

South East Asian mixed person, my black and south East Asian relatives both have big lips. It’s racist to assume only black people have big lips. Also, Halle Berry and Jada Smith have tiny lips - they’re black I agree that in the olden days, people made fun of for big lips, but growing up in 00’s - big lips are popular!

@@pinkbombshellcasing2672 the issue is that in particular, BPeople, who are genetically inclined to have natural full lips were mercilessly ATTACKED by mostly white society for being themselves. It's not racist to call out the current hypocrisy and allow the dismissal of an era that actually existed & negatively affected BWomen who are still ALIVE. When filler was NOT available tv, film, media, comedians cartoonist, average Jane/Joe loved to attack the aesthetics of BPeople esp BWomen. It went on for DECADES. So yes, it is annoying to see/hear the daughters & GDaughters of many of those same rude people getting lip filler OR proud to say _oh no.. Im a unicorn, my lips are naturally BIG._ 🥴

I had my nose fillers removed before getting a rhinoplasty. It didn’t hurt at all for me.
