Some of those early stories are model examples in imagination and concision. A truly wonderful collection that finishes on the first and probably best appearance of the Destroyer. Nothing that followed, not even the epic Simonson run, bettered what can be found here.

The art is just spectacular, so happy they went to reprint this 👏👏👏 Great video sir 💪

I enjoy reading Marvel Silver Age books in order to transport me back to the time when life was more simple. It's a good change of pace from our modern world for me. I also enjoy looking at the artwork.

Just ordered this book purely for the jack kirby artwork, great review as always man

I did the same thing! I got started in the Jack Kirby fever and buying everything as well as Steve Ditkos art!

Im so glad I bought this when it was announced it was being reprinted! I got the moden looking cover and went as far as getting vol 2 and 3 on ebay and Loki vol 1! Jack Kirby art is a world of its own!

Pictures a bit Fuzzy! Can You fix That?

I hope they reprint vols 2 & 3, for two reasons : matching spines plus I think the material in vol 2 & 3 is stronger ( the height of Kirby/Lee's run ).

I noticed that the paper is very thin. My copy I could see the writing and graphics from the opposite page. Shame for such great content.

The paper was definitely thicker in older omnis from years past, it's not so thin that it really bothers me now though honestly

I know, right? Kinda weird how they choose to release volumes really close together sometimes, like the two silver age X-Men omnis, then others are much further apart

Cool to see marvel reprinting whale books.
