Well I have made a lot more footage of various ships so here is another ship spotting video for 2024. It is all footage from the past 2 months so hope you all enjoy it and please subscribe if you haven't done so already so you wont miss any future videos.

    Yes it is a very busy world and even though I work on ships it is still fascinating to see how large some of them are.

    2:50 I know that Moran Tugboat well that’s the Jan Moran in Norfolk, Virginia. It used to be the Delta Linsey when it was with Delta Marine on the West Coast.

    @@JeffOnboard yes sir anytime. The Jan Moran is easy to identify even if you cannot see the name. It’s the only one at Moran Norfolk with those huge exhaust pipes. It is also the only one with square portholes too.

    I follow a tow/tug captain on the Mississippi River and he shows ships, container, barges going up the Mississippi River down around New Orleans. Have you been up the Mississippi River and how big was the ship. This video is great 👍

    I didn't know that container ships go up the Mississippi River until he had one in his video. I imagine a ship 1000 feet long would never make the bends. it's definitely deep enough , according to Wikipedia the deepest point in New Orleans is 200 feet. That's something I never knew.

    Regards from ex Virginia Beach expat here in Austria. I have a question for you, I always wanted to become merhcant marine, but never tried. You should make a video about process, school , certifications and etc. How can i who resides inAustria, US citizen ,make courses and so on,
