When I was in Preschool and my Mom worked I went to this group daycare afterwards at a women’s house with one other kid that wasn’t her son and in my neighborhood I had a best friend who loved all things Power Rangers, when I tried to watch it at her house, she looked at the Chinese Dragon evil Megazord Zed had (and I think Zed himself) and *_FORBADE ME_* from watching it at her house. When my mom came to pick me up she tried to show her this *EVIIIIIIL* thing I was interested in watching, and in less than a week a had a new group babysitter. And at this one I also occasionally went to her house to be picked up to go to school (I think because of the bus driver might get confused?) and she even let me watch Pokémon!😂

I absolutely adore Dan in this one! He so passionate about something he has zero clue about and willing to enjoy himself despite that. I was a massive power ranger fan as a kid and this made my day.

This episode gave me a flashback to when I was like 6 years old. I brought my Goldar into class to show everyone. I left it alone for a minute and it disappeared. 29 years later this episode reminded me of that incident and I'm angry again.

Fun fact for those who don’t know, when Dan goes, “Here’s your $3 check.” And Arin responds, “How true.” This is them referencing the fact the cast got unfair salaries for being a show that was both massively popular and relied heavily on physical activity. Yeah half of the whole show uses archive footage, but a lot of the footage is newly added footage. This disagreement resulted in actors Austin St. John (Jason, the Red Ranger), Walter Jones (Zack, the Black Ranger), and Thuy Trang (Trini, the Yellow Ranger) leaving the show in the midst of Season 2. Also not to mention, Walter and Thuy were dressed in spandex too close to their skin colors.

Petition to have Dan watch the entirely of power rangers, with Arin. A watch party would be awesome! Also: Dan, we need a nsp cover of the theme song please.

Oh my goodness. How awesome, I remember this being so difficult as a kid. When Dan said “I want to rip my own face off this gets me so pumped” reminded me of being six and practicing moves along with show in my living room.

That "don't use your powers for personal gain" line is especially funny because one of the Japanese power rangers actors used his stunt training to break into houses and steal stuff.

Just this past weekend my wife bought me a bunch of MMPR memorabilia at my local ComicCon including a Green Ranger communicator watch I've wanted since I was 4 years old (I turn 30 this year). This video marks one of the greatest weeks of my adult life.

Wanted to show my son the 90s Power Rangers. He was being a kid, immediately not wanting something new, “I don’t like Power Rangers.” “Son, you’re a 5yr old boy. You are genetically designed to like Power Rangers.” He was hooked 10min in 😂

Are we not gonna talk about how zordon's subtitles says "you will morph into a formidable fighting HORSE known to one and all as the Power Rangers." at 3:43? xD

Dan asking if the Green Ranger was the Shadow the Hedgehog of MMPR was adorable. Also found it funny that they attributed the "Me Gay Zord" gag to Billy, whose actor actually is gay. He unfortunately had difficulties with bullying while working on the show because of it, but he eventually got the last laugh by returning as Billy in both the Netflix reunion special, Once & Always, and the latest season, Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. (Both of those projects feature gay characters, including two Rangers who are a couple.)

I had no idea I needed Dan being hyped about power rangers in my life, but here we are. I also demand a 12 part series.

I always love that the dub actress for Rita Repulsa is also the voice of Overlord Laharl in Disgaea hour of Darkness.

Glad someone commented this lol idk how neither the grumps nor basically any of the commenters realized this.

They had this on the Sega CD demo station at my local Blockbuster for quite a while. The timer always cut out right about the time they were doing their first Morph.

The joke that Billy calls the Megazord "MeGAYzord" is double hilarious when the actor playing Billy is actually gay!
