I remember this show blowing away my expectations when I was a kid, only to leave me absolutely mortified by the 2 part finale. As much as I'd love a reboot, I don't think modern day story tellers or studios have what it takes to deliver the show we want in a satisfying way

My favorite thing was when the villain Spike who killed Norman’s father does the cliche villain thing of saying “You can't kill me! If you do, you'll be no better than me!” Instead of letting Spike go, Norman chucks him off a cliff “I can live with that.” Bad ass.

The ninja turtle sets were awesome, just as good with all the small parts and pieces, I always looked for the moving parts, open areas (like little platforms, encased areas, etc) and how many characters and monsters it included. The tmnt sets had moving arms and legs as well.... Ahhhh..... childhood was gone a long time ago lol. I'm 39

MM was great. I'm almost 40 and have been writing since highschool. I still distinctly remember multiple episodes plot lines to this day. That's how well put together a lot of these were. I had a ton of the miniature playsets and even got "packs" of Xtra monster's & minions lol.

The sound design on this show was really memorable. Great voice acting, effects, and music that sold the adventure horror themes and let the stories shine. The cap was a great gimmick because it was a very open ended play concept that kids could participate with in their own imagination scenarios, even if they didn't have the more niche pocket toys.

A FANTASTIC show. Absolutely amazing. Super 90s and really pushed the edge of what it covered. Death and violence was treated with gravitas in several episodes, like the Maxnificent Seven and especially the Axeman Cometh, made it really stand out. Similar to its contemporaries Phantom 2040, Exo Squad, and Skeleton Warriors. And, of course, Tim Curry and Tony Jay, as ever, make a terrific combination.

@@TheNextFiles288True, unless their parents decide to enrich the imagination of their children. But I know some people have made their own custom figures of the original heroes. And at least other person has given several of the playsets a custom paint job that looks great! @@sequoiaedwards4782 you know this debate has been going on from the time of jesus in fact they asked him if a woman was to die after being married with 7 different men who would she belong to. Jesus said Male and female sex doesn't exist in heaven so this isn't something knew and even jesus answered it for us. Not sure why conservatives are so fearful of stuff like that. Put it this way how does a fictional character affect you if its more boyish or girlish? I get that there are feminists tha go to far (example who said that a bomb is Male or female) but the rest of the stuff I don't see how that affects us everyday people and again I go with jesus already being asked about gender stuff and he said a soul isn't male or female.

Mighty Max was the show that taught me to never judge a show without actually watching it first. The title sounded lame and how good could it be since it’s based on the “boy version” of Polly Pocket? After watching the first episode I was hooked! I recommended it to everyone, especially anyone that hadn’t seen it but called it lame. The finale STILL sticks in my mind since it pretty much has the hero lose, hoping to get it right the second time…
