Hello. Have you done any more videos on your welder, also is it right in saying the top left dial control's mig voltage , which seems to come up current on the display. Thanks

Somewhat confused by your comment below saying the welder is great for thin metal, e.g. car panels? You say in your video re the use of flux-core with mig that the performance was poor? You said you would try the machine in mig mode using gas, but I haven't been able to find a vid on that? Did the machine perform well when using with gas?

I'm looking to order this for doing some car panels thin stuff. I noticed it goes down to 20A minimum which would be useful. Do you reccomend this? Was either going to be this at £200 or the clark 151 en turbo for 270. Cheers.

@@MrMeltedwellies Great to hear Mark! Hope it does you well for many years. I went with the Röhr MIG-200MI in the end, just thought to spend a little extra just incase I need it for any big jobs ( Not likely ) More the case welding replacement body panels having the thickness of a bean tin! Take care & keep safe. Kind regards

@@KutreeZ How was the Rohr when used on car panels? Did you use flux-core or with gas? ATB Peter

@@petercrawford8465 Hi Peter, sorry if there ends up being 2 comments. I did write one out on my phone but doesn't seem to be here. The 200MI has done me very well since I bought it, used it for several panels on my MK1 Fiesta getting her back on the road, I use fluxcore wire with it 0.9mm It's called Proweltek I think on Amazon, not cheap but a really nice wire to use. But yeah it welds thin metal really good, I didn't even have to turn it all the way down! Unlike my old welder that would spray a hole straight through something on its lowest setting. Nice and light too.
