What is Flux Cored Arc Welding? (FCAW)
Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) is often called "stick welding turned inside out." This video is a first look at flux cored arc welding.

Using your Welding videos to teach Welding concepts to my students in Civil Engineering. Thank you
Listen, I truly love your videos.! I watch it once and that's it, everything is clear! As a AMT in training you make FAA exams so much easier to learn. Could you please explain resistance welding (spot/seam)?
I did Mig welding and stick welding some years ago and I want to get back into it. Some of these things I didn't even know about...it seems like a mountain I have to move, but I can't let that discourage me. Life truly only gets harder as time goes by.
I really need them for my presentation you have a very clear presentation..
Quick clean and easy! Thank you.
Very informative for all technical members engaged in fabrication processes.
very much informative for beginner. thank you.
Great video! I've watched the MIG and TIG videos as well. They move along quickly and they are to the point with good information. They work well for students as they get bored or distracted quickly. I'll look forward to a video on SMAW. Thanks, you sold me...I'm subscribing!
Thanks this is helping me on our current topic in Architecture
very informative video. thank you
Happy to see ur channel. PLEASE DO SOME VIDEO OF UNDERGROUND WATER WELDING!!!
Really a great video. Are there more like this that simply explain other processes? Thank you.
terima kasih om, ilmunya bermanfaat!
That was really helpful. Thanks.
Thank you so much for this...do you have other types of arc welding its just that I need to learn all of them .. I had 3 types already and all from you...
Your videos are of really high quality, can you make a whole playlist on Manufacturing Science
Thank you regards awesome explanation
Very nice...
Thx a lot. Waiting for SAW welding process.
Great videos!! If I understand correctly FCAW-G is the best of both worlds (welding with gas, and with self-shielding filler)
I learn something from you thanks a lot
Thanks you video is amazing!
Good job! I'm waiting for SMAW & SAW...
Thank you for this simple video
Nice animation , great job , can u try to upload electrical sag welding
thank you so much.. this is first time I know about this
i dindt understand if the flux or the core is the filler metal?? and can you make a video explaining the MCAW(Metal Cored Arc Welding)? THANX!
i need advice, i'm going to build pigeon loft made in steel, should i buy just stick welding or flux core welding machine, i tried the mig before and i like it, but i don't wanna use gas for my project, i'm beginner btw.
great channel
please talk about flux core compared to stick welding ??, which is a stronger weld.??
could you do a SMAW video too?
Thank you we are watching this at lessons and chilling
Insted of using FCAW-G why cant I use gas metal inert gas welding what is difference and advantages sir please reply me
And my question is , when use FCAW- S as FCAW-G with Argon or CO2 what will happen ? Thanks
This may have cleared up my confusion of double letters "GS" which I thought was for "gas shielded" and "SS" for "self shielded" and realize that those labels on wire "GS" mean gas/self shielding purpose (dual applications).
Great video 👍
as beautiful as a picture
Thanks sir
Thank you
I love the dog at the end of the video
Thought I wouldn't learn anything, but I was wrong!

sir just to clarify im littlet bit confuse.the fcaw will use without gas only electric supply
Excellent, I need the text to translate this video, is it possible to present it?
why flux cord electrode is used. what are the benefits of flux cord welding?
Good video
Please all position And angle position welding bit
Yes
What does "C" indicates which type of flux covering in electrode
You never mentioned splatter ^^

You are very right! And I left out slag removal, too.
Our factory specializes in manufacturing welding materials submerged arc welding agent for 30 years, win-win cooperation.
whats the difference between FCAW-G and mig welding? in both processes we are using external gas cylinders.

One has a flux core😂

FCAW can be shielded with pure CO2 gas which is cheaper and works fine due to the extra shielding from the flux. MIG uses an Argon/CO2 mix which needs larger cylinders and costlier refills. CO2 is reactive at high temps which makes it unforgiving for MIG welding.
What's recommended. Flux or Stick? I want to learn but I don't want tanks in my garage

Stick is good for Basic put it together welding
Why not use polarity DCEP in FCAW-S????
What is the purpose of the flux, why would you choose this over regular MIG?

Este vídeo tinha que ter uma versão em português 😔
I call it "Dragon Welding" because of how much it spits fire.

interesting...
Hello. What type of flux core weld can weld boiler plate? Can suggest?

I am from India ❤️❤️
And dont forget Metal cored wires
make it simple, if you cant explain things coherent and from right view. this is what happens. i just need to know what is flux core welding not anything else.
ITI CHALAKUDI ❌️😹
awful comment ....still commenting
Good video
