when you use only liquid detergent compined with low temp its the perfect combination to corrode flange...with powder detergent you would never had this problem

Oh man, on the smaller ones you can easily fit a steel flange to them, I’ve done that before, it basically means it will never have that failure again, from 1980 to 1997 they had those steel flanges, and there’s never been a recorded case of one snapping

I guess this is a newer model that has these failures . Old units were well built with less problems compare to these new ones in the market .

You guys are so respectful 😁 flange is a triangle cast iron piece that holds the drum in place . Thank you for being so nice 🫂

I tried one to replace...omg we gave up after 2 days of attempting..the HARDEST and only job i ever gave up on in my history

Miele in general not worth fixing😂 biggest headache ever created
