You're right. It's been a poor season overall. Failing to make the Champions League group stages is disappointing. We shouldn't be getting knocked out in the first qualifying round.

@@potdog1000 Haha, that's a good one! I wouldn't be surprised either. Yeah, Miedema is world class and is one of the FEW players who can change the course of a game with a moment of brilliance, scoring from out of nothing. But can she return to that level? Eidevall is too stubborn and predictable with his team selections which is frustrating. I don't understand why he keeps benching Blackstenius. I know she's not always clinical, but she has delivered when it matters most.

Yeah I know where your coming from bro , A very talented player, she definitely has the class to score brilliant goals, however she has really struggled with getting back into that form of 2019, 2020 . Like you say injuries really don’t help with that, you have to play consistently to get the form , and with so many talented players at arsenal, she had to be a sub which really doesn’t get your form back . It’s a bit like Robin van Perse . I’m sure Arsenal new how good he was but they had to let him go because the player had been there too long and needed a change. A change is as good as a rest as they say, so let’s hope she does do well at whichever club she goes to because she scores some really entertaining goals, so it’s good for everyone. Arsenal will always have a strong team and challenge for the title , with or without Midema, so good luck to her and thanks for all the goals for the club . She will always be a Arsenal legend.

I appreciate the comment man. It's true that consistency is key to building momentum and confidence, which is crucial for getting back into form. That's a good point you made about Robin van Persie. The thing is, she could potentially do the same thing he did by winning the title straight after if she goes to Man City. We definitely have the squad to challenge for the title and make a strong run in the Champions League. Miedema is a legend, one of the greatest players we've ever had.

Exactly the game has changed. Should she decide to stay in the WSL, the league is more competitive now. Time will tell if she can return to her past form.

She's 27, if she was 31 or 32 this would be a argument. However, when she has played this season all her goals have been highlights. She's still quality. Now it depends on her overall health. I personally believe she left because Jonas doesn't know how to use her and they might not get along.

@@stevieg5907 I get what your saying but she's only scored two goals in 9 appearances this season and one of the goals was good so its too early to say if she will get back to her best. And yeah it does depend on her health. Now if she stays in the WSL and performs next season, her leaving will sting! You're right they probably don't get along, they did clash on the touchline at one point tbf.

She is a dutch football player who usually plays as a striker for her national team Netherlands. She used to play for Arsenal but is now a free agent. She's the WSL super league all time top goalscorer and is also all time leading top goalscorer for the Netherlands national team.
