I also agree that what they’ve done to Viv, is going to sow seeds of mistrust by the players for management, thus putting that “family feeling,” on shaky ground.

Greetings from Malaysia, Vivianne Miedema is irreplaceable. She is the Goat in football. Vivianne Miedema put Arsenal on the map and won many trophies for them and now Arsenal is putting her out to dry because she has ruptured her knee and needs time for recovery. What a heartless club. Jonas Eidewell coaching style will not win any championship. He is a lousy coach and manager and his coaching style will not beat Spain, France and Germany. He should get the sack and I don't know why his contract is renewed when he cannot even get the team into the UEFA Championships. Eversince Vivianne Miedema has been injured, Arsenal has been on a downhill trajectory. You need a talented player and world record scorer like Vivianne Miedema to win trophies. Vivianne Miedema will show what Arsenal loss by being the best when she is fully recovered. Because of Miedema, I became an Arsenal fan but not anymore. Vivianne Miedema is a liability and if they can treat Vivianne Miedema like rubbish by not giving her a new contract. They will treat all the other football players the same, as in their eyes, they are not human beings with feelings but just their money making tools.

I think it's an awful decision not to offer Viv a new contract. We'll miss you big time!❤❤

I haven't liked Jonas from the jump, noticed shady behaviors here and there. Yelling at Martha Thomas at that Spurs match, everyone came for Emma when they had push gate, but I was like I see that, she's spot on its just her reaction was impulsively unprofessional but she wasn't wrong about her assessment. He destroyed Iwabuchi's career, now the video with him and Viv having that tense moment. I don't like his energy or decision making. I think he's made his time at Arsenal about him, not the players or the club. Now sending viv packing? I put it on him. He could have fought for her or maybe he was behind it. Jonas out, 100%.

Exactly what I have thought…he is phoney… and the fans know it…. He can’t old with a player who ismore intelligent about the game and way ahead in sheer talent than he has ever been. !!! it's crazy to think that viv is to arsenal what putellas is to barca and like just imagine if barca let her go for free after trying to come back from her acl set back? fans would riot lol. the complete disrespect to viv from arsenal's front office is insane in this situation, especially to not even offer her an extension. her rejecting their offer is one thing, but to not even make one? yikes. they better have a master plan up their sleeve this coming season or else they'll look like absolute buffoons and not only lose the trust of the fans but also the players. they do not want this one decision backfiring on them.

Viv miedama is a great player. But apart from a goal against ajax at the beginning of last season..I can't think of a vital goal that she has scored. And the idea that she wants to be a n ok number 10 compared with a world class striker has puzzled me. I think her record of goals has blinded people into thinking she is irreplaceable. She simply hadn't scored as many vital point or game saving goals as say Sam kerr. So for me ther has been a myth built about her.

Is she playing? Can her fitness be trusted.
