Kalandra is a really special band for me. I've got my mental struggles, that became much more profound and intense after my last break up and subsequently during the pandemic. Their album The Line was released in 2020, and I discovered it at a just the right time... When I hear the opening song Borders, all my struggles just fades away, and I can be calm and tranquil for the remainder of that album. Kalandra is therefore very important for me, and holds a strong place in my heart. I got to meet Katrine and the others a little bit during a signing session at Midgardsblot, and they were very nice, but I wish I could have had the nerve to tell them all how important their music is for me! I did get my own photo from one of their concerts signed and it hangs proudly in my living room!

I saw Kalandra live in Munich, before Wardruna played. Katrine was crying so bad during one song... I think because she was very grateful to have the oppurtunity to play for us.... she is so sweet :) 17:55 I totally resonate with that, I had a very similar experience. I now feel much better since I accepted that I'm an introvert person. That's why also really like Aurora's music. It has this strong message to allow yourself being yourself. You should invite Aurora to the podcast! Greetings from Germany!
