I thought you had done this egg cooker before. Updated model explains it. Help to make the perfect egg is always needed. Very good review my friend.

Hi I just got this egg boiler from a charity shop without instructions. There is no measuring jug. Can you please let me know how much ml of water I need for a few hard eggs?

Hi. The measuring cup isn’t always accurate anyway. It varies depending on egg size and starting temperature. I would recommend just filling it and using a timer to work it out to begin with. I find 8-10 mins for hard eggs (I store my eggs in the fridge). Peel 1 egg to check doneness and give the rest longer if needed. Hope this helps.

Mine has the warming function. Looks like yours. It's the Evoloop KY-305 It's chrome & black. Did you use room temp eggs or cold from fridge?

I use medium sized eggs from the fridge and it takes around 8 minutes. It will vary depending on egg size and where they’re stored….fridge, room temp etc. hope this helps.

I'll tell you know, the markings on the water measure thing are back to front. Mine shows the least amount of water to soft boil 6 eggs, it should be the other way around. I've tested my theory and I'm correct. I get perfect eggs if I ignore the manufacturers markings.

I think so too, though I wonder if the markings are not actually water hardness, and not the number of eggs.

Does anyone know can you turn off the beeping feature? It doesnt stop unless you turn it off and it's infuriating.

Why keep hard eggs warm? In fact why hard boil them at all ? Soft boil is the whole point of these.

Shame you didn't do a soft, medium and hard egg so we could see the various cooking methods. Hard boiled eggs are easy to get right whereas soft boiled eggs are tricky.

We did that with the Aldi ambiano egg cooker but it varies quite a lot depending on the egg size, where they’re stored, egg starting temperature, start temperature of water and even room temperature etc. we ended up with comments from watchers telling us we were wrong because their eggs didn’t work to the same times as ours. Thanks for stopping by ☺️

@@Mandyglen Appreciate the reply. Tbh, with so many variables, size, storage, temp etc. etc. makes me wonder if these egg cookers are worth the hassle. finally, just wanted to say thanks for folks like yourself who show these types of video as it does help make up my mind as to whether something is worth purchasing. Carry on the good work!
