Right?! It was one of the few perfumes that swept me off my feet ❤

I have the La Rive version as well as Modest Deux. The La Rive turns magical after macerating for a while. I was disappointed in it at first and pulled it out while watching this video. It is COMPLETELY different than it was initially. The notes smell far better blended and way more intense. What a steal. I believe I only paid about $12 USD for it on Amazon.

I love La Nuit Tresor. Got the big bottle at Heathrow duty free last year. I love Jazzab gold as well. It gave me strong incense in the beginning. Certainly different and interesting. It has now macerated to it's truer form. I am in the countryside this weekend and that is the only full size perfume I took along and I fell in love. You might be getting anosmic to it because I could still smell it hours after especially on my clothes and hair. I wore it today and I was getting wafts from my dress all throughout while the one on my skin became a skin scent

I have Modest Duex and Taste of Kiss. I love Modest Duex. Taste of Kiss seemed to be very good after it's had a chance to sit for a while. I love them both the same. To me, the Modest Duex smells brighter compared to Taste of Kiss. So it really depends on what mood I'm in. As far as the original, I liked it when it had the incense. It's okay now, but I prefer the 2 dupes I have over the original after the reformulation.

I have taste of kiss as well and totally agree you have to let it sit, I have had mine for about a year now and it has definitely improved, although longevity is still an issue, good thing it is cheap enough to spay often.

Interesting! I also purchased Taste of Kiss but not as a dupe, just because it looked like it smelled nice. I did not like it when I sprayed it a few times to test and put it away to sell. After watching this video and reading your comment, I pulled it out and it does smell better after sitting for a couple months! Before, it had like a play doh smell, it smelled really synthetic, now the scent is much richer and well-blended. I think I'll keep it for a bedtime scent. Why not at the price?? So thanks for your comment to suggest the masceration, it's hard to tell which scents will need it. I have really been wanting Modest Deux, though! It seems like it's different enough to warrant having both.

I couldn't stand modest deux,so I let it macerate for about 3 months. Now I love it!!!!!❤ layered with Mon guerlain its mind blowing!

I am glad that I finally got Modest Deux, they sent me the wrong perfume but I would not give up and love that perfume so much. I think personally I prefer wearing Modest Deux to Tresor La Nuit. I have a tiny bit left of Tresor La Nuit but will not buy it again as I do truly love Modest Deux. Lots of love to you ❤❤❤😻😽

Modex deux is very close dupes and is delicious perfume lovely earring . Paris corner and pandora also got dupes

Signature True and Modest Deux are on my wish list. 😁 Great review and comparisons! I wear any perfume, at any time. In the winter it is so cold that I figure that wearing evening type frgrances is acceptable all day. 😄

Never smelled la Nuit tresor, I blind bought jazzab based on your review and Wow I am in love. By wearing jazzab I know I need la Nuit tresor. I'm even planning on back up bottle for jazzab. I really love it. I'm surprised you are getting longevity issues, on me it lasts 5 hours plus. And that was before I macerated it. It's still in the cupboard, will update once I start wearing it again in September.

You look nice Simin. Dupes are helpful when favorite fragrances are Discontinued. I also love lychee. In Dubai I visited a market for easy access to exotic fruits, fresh pressed Dragon Fruit Juice every day .

I've heard from a perfumer that if you take the atomizer out and take it outside and spray it completely dry...it gets all the chemical smells out. As you said they are often just made and they don't give them time to macerate. So when they bottle them so quickly all the chemical smells come to the top and haven't had time to escape. That's why so often people are put off immediately...when if they sprayed it out they'd get to the beauty of the scent intended. It also does help to let them sit....but to smell immediately...spray out the atomizer. I just found you and love your take on fragrance...will be subscribing...I really appreciate your views. I've been on a perfume journey and gone down rabbit holes learning every thing about them...❤❤

Love this scent. I can remember when Avon sold Tresor and I bought it 4 my mother all the time. Lancome ended up buying it from them and the price definitely went up just it was still beautiful. Thanks ❤ #simsquad

Okay so update. I got it on Friday. It's such a beautiful fragrance. But, the longevity is sadly short. I got 4 hours of bliss before it disappeared completely. I'm going to let it sit for a couple of months to see if that'll help (because it's Soo good😭) I'd gladly respray though

exactly what i needed! I have a small doubt though. Modest deux intrigues me the most because of its cherry note. But it's way harder to find when compared to the other dupes you've mentioned. Should I still wait and find modest deux or go for signature true? the mention of citrus is throwing me off.

It is by far one of my fav finds amongst my Middle Eastern fragrances. Initial spray might put you off coz it smells cough syrupy. But once it sits for a bit, it is a nearly identical dupe for Poison Girl, which is my top 5 for life 💕

Great review but might as well buy the original as it's on sale cheaper than the best dupe available in the UK. Is there a dupe for the original Angel? I know you can't stand it but it's my daughter's all time favourite. Mine is Shalimar! 🙏

Ajmal sacrifice for her is a dupe for original angel, I heard. I never tried original angel so can't say about that, but I like the sacrifice on its down. It's though new purchase for me, so can't say much of it yet. Sim, thank you once again for your lovely video. I so enjoy all of them. Of these I have modest deux and I love it. It's easy to find on Europe, same as la river version.

Perfume Parlour in UK does a good dupe of Angel and postage etc is free over £30.00. I'm addicted to perfume parlour, their catalogue is huuuuge.

la rive is polish company, not USA. I found another dupe from Paris corner

Hey Babe ❤ Today is my first day at work and still the pain has not subsided because the stitches have not healed yet. It really sucks coz cant sit because the opening was from the Urethra till the Vag. Plus my catheter failed so it was quite hellish

I really wasn't impressed by taste of kiss when it arrived.. it just smelt a bit off to me. I've had it around 5 months now and it's smelling alot more recognisable as a La Nuit Tresor dupe. 😊 xx

Modest Deux does not have the same notes as La Nuit Tresor. They’re not even close. I don’t understand how they can smell similar.

Yea babe. I am getting better by the day. I had a minor surgery but its recovery period is very long. Plus my Fibromyalgia was acting up due to the stress of the surgery :(

The LA reve is in my opinion are very poor quality. Mine has bee sitting two years and stillman. Do not waste your money on them.

It makes sense to buy La Rive perfumes if you are based in Europe, since they are a Polish brand and readily available in drugstores. I can get the100 ml bottle for 10 euros. For the money spent, they are excellent quality. I get decent longevity for this specific one, around 6 hours if I spray on clothes. It indeed was a bit alcoholish when initally sprayed. I let it sit for 6 months and now it's perfect!

Simin thanks for replying, wow i felt so special haha 💖. well I blind bought bint hooran but unfortunately I didn't like it cause it wasn't smooth and sweet "tonka note" as c.h good girl it's a bit more synthetic or kinda chemical for me i don't know if it's the tobacco or what but u got something a bit annoying and strong sharp not smooth. but that's for the price cant complain haha 😂❤.
