I feel what Elica says with my blood and flesh. As an Iranian in diaspora I was thinking that perhaps there is something wrong with me when I am looking at the left and pro-Palestinian shenanigans and can’t figure why I have so much issue with them!

Elica just so you know: you are not alone !

I saw the change in real time, and I didn't understand. This really helped me understand her perspective. I am like Moj, don't necessarily agree with everything but I do understand how she got there. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the video, really appreciated what both of you had to say. I feel Israel's biggest problem is that it’s losing the P.R. game. Israel releases a few videos a week. It needs to release 5 a day as well as split them up into 10 clips each and upload the 50 shorts to TikTok, KZread, Rumble, etc. They should highlight their effort with humanitarian aid, Hamas weapon stashes, Protecting Gaussians from Hamas, their ground efforts against Hamas stealing or diverging humanitarian aid, their effort in relocating the refugees, their progress against Hamas, etc. They need to be far more interactive than they have been so far. Israel is way behind in getting the word out to the rest of the world. Israel is winning the battles but losing the war. 50 informative videos a day is better than two lackluster videos a week.

Alicia if we are going to talk about one state than Jordan should come to play . Jordan is an Arab state in Palestine. Both Gaza and Judea was to be part of the Jewish state which the Arab invaded and occupied in 1948. Since we Israelis seek solutions we gave up our land for peace but we never got peace . So perhaps it’s time to return the land to Jews and have Arab Palestinians become one state with Jordan .

It surprises me that you think Israel has gone too hard on Gaza. Considering when you know: 1. What Hamas did on October 7. They do or try to do such things every couple of years, and are stating openly they wanna do it again and again. 2. The IDF tries to conduct this war as humanely as possible, in great contrast to the atrocities that were committed on Israelis on October 7. The civilian per soldier death ratio is unprecedented. 1 in 1. The average in other wars is 1 to 9. They've aided and allowed humanitarian aid, and are warning civilians to evacuate before they attack, even calling them at home, asking, please leave for your own safety.

Elica Le Bon is brilliantly smart and practical. In a liberal free democracy how can very powerful foreign lobbies be prevented from having large scale influence? The only way to do this would be for a country to cease to be a liberal free democracy and become a closed autocratic society. I think this would be an abomination. How would the host prevent Hamas from ruling Gazans by force, killing Gazans and keeping Gaza dirt poor? [I think the solution is to empower anti Hamas Palestinians and to create a large and very powerful Palestinian security force (empower the NSF) and strong Palestinian institutions. And facilitate Palestine becoming an asian tiger economic miracle.]
