Very cool. Btw to advanced this. you can have the ultranet port on the console and the stagebox be different sets of 16 outputs by using the User Out routing. change the stagebox AES 33-48 to User out 1-16. now you have some very powerful capabilities for ouputs

Doing the exact same set up. I have one of the DN4816-O’s mounted locally in my rack. I have a ethercon mounted in my rack pass through with a duplicate feed. If the venue doesn’t have a patchbay or stagebox on stage to send to FOH, I just hook up to that rack mount ethercon and run the second DN4816-O out to front of house via ethernet. I’ve been able to get rid of two rack mount splitters, and a bunch of XLR fan outs within my rack.

I was just wondering if I could use this with my x32 Rack and to avoid buying splitter snakes etc for front of house. Sounds like it’s a viable option. I know it says bus powered. Does it come with a power supply?

@@TheXIT Yes, and yes. The power over XLR (not phantom) is only for the stage connect via the wing or using a Klark Teknik DN4816U StageCONNECT Interface Bridge. Converting Ultranet to stage connect I believe.

I'm interested in buying two or three wings though you guys..... I have a question is it possible to link all three through Dante connecting Vive Dante to a daw I'm sure the Dante software will recognize the three devices but will it split the audio for example using One Wing for the drums second for instruments and synthesizers the third for vocals. I'm sure one can handle all of that but I have a huge console desk and the budget so why not three for a studio console setup

Hi! Do you have any tutorial how to connect a DN4816-I to midas m32 for inputs 17-32?

Are you able to run the dn boxes and personal mix boxes off the distributor?

Did you have to do anything special to get the DN4816-O to receive the Ultranet signal? I have mine plugged into my M32C directly and it isn't passing signal at all. When the sync switch is set to Ultranet the lights on the front stay on for a few seconds then fade before turning on again. Any thoughts? Edit: Reset firmware on everything and it works now. Turning stuff off and back on wins again...

Thanks for those videos. Not the most technical guy, but working with an X32 IEM Rig which I would like to simplify and make more sturdy. Need about 28 IN and 14 OUT. Want to get my X32 rack connected to a Midas S16 via AES50 A. Get 2 x DN4816-O, one connected to Ultranet X32 and one connected to S32 Ultranet. These 2 x 16 outs would copy INS 1 - 32 from the S32 for FOH. Seems more clean to me than a splitter. I think I figured out the routing. But what do you guys think; Would it work? Using both Ultranet ports from both the X32 & S32 should work separately right?

I have a DL32 on Stage, using Outputs 1-4 for Wedges and 13-16 for Mains Outs (dlySub,Sub,Main-L,Main-R)... If I'm reading this correctly, I should be able to Route ULTRANET from DL32 (1-32 Direct-Out) back to 2x4816-O and create a 32ch DIRECT Splitter for bands that dont use Midas/Behringer products...? This would be Awesome for the Club I work at.

Very close but ultranet is limited to 16 channels. So you could only duplicate 16 channels instead of the full 32.

Do you know how to connect DN4816-O and DN9680? Is it possible?

I think this video answers my question but I'll ask anyway. We're using an x 32 rack and have the P 16D power distributor along with 6 p16 personal monitor mixers. The 16D has 8 outputs so I have two open, could I use one of those to feed the DN4816 O and send those to FOH instead of buying line splitters?

Hi man, thanks for this video series. Is it possible from the SD or whatever family stageboxes with ultranet out to this ultranet in stagebox without the mixing desk like digital snake? Will behringer or klark teknik or midas plan to release the stageconnet expansion card for x32/m32? Meanwhile, the translation and input solution to x32/m32 is the midas HUB4?

We are not 100% sure. We do have quite a few HUB4’s that we are about to play with. We will keep you posted. So far we haven’t heard anything from music group about their being a stage connect card. It would be very useful though.

Yes, that´s possible, but you need a S16 or DL16. You have to engage SPLITTER mode and set the S/DL 16 synch in MASTER MODE. (Snake Master). The result will be input 1-16 is mirrored on ADAT outputs 1-16 and Ultranet outputs 1-16

Yes yes this i need. Basicly you can route any output mix or matrix out and duplicate with the p16 acros multiple DN devices.. this is big like having one master unit configured with matrix and bus send this info to another unit exact same config trough the p16 switch i understand correct right. How many of the DN can you use to duplicate ? Unit the switch is full ?

You can at least do 8 there is a possibility you might could go into another p16d and have 15 total at that point.

So the purpose of this is to duplicate a signal to multiple analog outputs?
