Can’t agree more to your thoughts on used books being valuable on our shelves. IMO, some worn out, used books are more jewel of a crown, compared to overhyped special editions off late ..

So glad you feel the same way Raj! I occasionally get the special editions, but there are just SO many now that it's impossible to keep track, and there's just something wonderful about having books that are well worn and enjoyed by others before it makes its way into our hands
Cujo is the only book that ever made me cry, haha. The dogs always get me. I’m also excited for John Gwynne’s new book! I’m not a big manga reader, but I do like Junji Ito.

Omg me too!! Cujo is so so tragic 😢 have you read the Bloodsworn saga yet? I can’t wait to dive into those this year! Thanks for the rec re: Junji Ito! My wife actually has a couple of volumes on her shelf, I might just have to check it out! 😊🙏🏽

@@Shelf-Esteem I have read the first book in the Bloodsworn Saga. I’m waiting to read the second until closer to October when the third book is released. That’s great that your wife has some Junji Ito books!
Great video and answers Nikhil. I'm still thinking about Cujo, its been a while since a horror affected me like that book did. It's just so tragic.

Awesome video Nikhil! I just finished my first ever Manga - Volume one of Vinland Saga, and it was great. Manga is pretty popular on Booktube. I need to get back to the Expanse as well.

@@Shelf-Esteem it’s amazing! I started with the first two seasons of the Anime, and discovered I need to read the manga so I can find out what happens after. 🤣
I hadn't heard of that library series but I looked it up and it sounds quite interesting!
