I'm reading along with Vanished Birds and feel similar in Chapter 4. I'm a religious non-DNFer though, so I have to power through it, just want you to know you put that evil on me.
Yeah I DNF'd vanished birds as well. It just wasn't for me. I didn't feel as vehement about it as you, but I wasn't enjoying it.
