For my next colossal weapon build I'm going to equip Fallingstar Beast Jaw and press L2 repeatedly

STR also has less visible, but arguably even more important advantages in both having just free extra damage from two-handing *and* being just plainly tankier than any other build (especially at mid levels) from the flat phys defence they get.

You're right about the flat defenses for STR builds for sure, but man Bleed procs so fast in this game

This was very cool, and not at all mid, contrary to your level, the off zamor is SO sick! I tried to make a dancer build some few patches ago but could never pull it together. Also, foreshadowing in the beginning of this video when you say your str build has another spell yet unseen 👁️👁️

You CAN have Charge Forth on an infused Golem Halberd, with some tinkering. Do you know about the Royal Knight's Resolve storage box trick? Have two Golem Halberds of the same infusion and upgrade level and give one RKR. Equip the other, then put the RKR one into and then out of storage. Youll find the two weapons have swapped places, with the RKR weapon magically equipped. Except now, despite displaying RKR as its AoW, itll instead do Charge Forth. However, this only lasts for as long as you have the weapon equipped, meaning no hard swapping (soft swaps are fine).

Man the advice here makes me feel way more up to speed with builds in this game. I see nearly every build having pocked greabows for the AoW they have. What is your take on that?

Heyo Sam! Personally I'm not a fan of Rain of Golem Arrows because it feels like I'm not even playing the game I paid $60 for lol, it's just a "win now" button that punishes people who look away from their screen for a second. Many a time I've started up a 2v2 TT'd run only to get instantly demolished by Rain of Golem Arrows from another player I didn't even see. I'm actually pretty ok with Golem Arrows in general, but Rain of Arrows with the Golem Arrows just doesn't feel satisfying to kill others with, so I simply choose not to use it. Would rather find other ways to kill my opponents, even the most dishonest ones who would absolutely insta kill me if given the chance

Finally getting KZread notifications from you again Which means KZread is finally doing it's job and pushing up the smaller channels 🙏🗿

Hey Rofo! I think you are spot on with the status effect talk there. Hope From does address it! Been enjoying my own SL 73 str build recently and the weird mix of hosts with 0 hp and hosts who clearly think about this game is wild. Also, unseen weapon on golem halberd is genius. Few folks use the weapon so good luck knowing what you are gonna do with it lol.

72 is a REALLY hard level to build for I've found for exactly that reason, I think largely because it invades up to rl80, which is where a lot of more "serious" players like to look for duels and invasions.

Great theme and explanation for each of your builds! I wanted to ask waht would you say would be the invasion brackets for upgrade levels? Since i've seen people say for example +17 +7 for around rl 60 but you said +15 for rl 72

Good question! I tend to shoot lower on my weapon upgrades for higher activity ranges, so my rl60 build uses +12 / +5 weapons, my rl72 uses +15 / +6 weapons, and my rl81 uses +17 / +7. But that's just my approach and philosophy, you could absolutely go higher on those weapon upgrades and get pretty good activity I'd imagine. It's harder to make mid level builds in this game due to the open world nature of the game

My dex build doesn't have a katana on it. Going to fix that critical error now. Thank you for the important reminder.

But sadly now everything is mashing out of hit-stun and hyperarmour trade, not making it necesary for most people to know timing, spacing or priority and making you have to wait for your turn

Stamp: Upward Cut actually can poise through bleedouts, but I have no idea if there's a specific reason why or how-- it just happened once or twice in the Colossal Swords video I made. Golem's Halberd for the win! Just be mindful that the attacks borrowed from other weapon classes CAN be parried.

@RofoTheGyrm Happened to me when I was in the colosseum's after they opened up, I kept doing the R2 to make sure it wasn't just a fluke-- happened numerous times.

Finally, a use for unseen blade. I may copy this idea a bit.

Have you considered offhand uchigatana with 👇🏼 P O I S O N ? ! I do really like the Zamor with the flowing curved sword main as a concept, but I agree it’s a little lacking in what it seems can be done with it (the ash is obscenely cool though). Big meteorite smith man with unseen halberd charge forth is a beautiful and precious idea we must protect ❤

I had actually considered using poison, especially the Serpent Bone Blade for those R2s, but it felt weird to cosplay as a Blue Dancer who sealed away rot while also using some form of poison myself.

Man, admire your ability to somehow make this game work semi-functionally, because for me the game's just flat out unplayable.

I see lots of pretentious talk here and very little actual skill, like spacing and timing. Some people probably like to have fun by bullying defenseless noobs I guess... To each their own.
