Hoping to get a new camera soon to start back up on it.

Watching you mess with the pan is why I ditched mine entirely on my mid-engine Bug project. Good progress though!

Only reason I'm using the pan is due to some anonymous message I got a while back saying " it's not a vw if you don't use a vw pan, it's just a gokart with a bug body " so that's why I figured I'd do it with the pan. Spite is a strong motivator.

@@frogpit Always has to be a hater, doesn't there. Looks good, I just thought the difference in approach was interesting.

I’m wanting to flip my motor around in my VW bug to make it mid engine. Is there some fancy trick? I need to know to make that work thank you cool video.

You can use a 914 transaxle, but probably better off starting with a 914. Mid engine is proving more challenging than it sounds. Entire rear suspension has to be redone.

That’s so funny I have a 914 in America but I live in Brazil these days and to bring that down here cost too much money so I gotta work with what I got.

@@alecjones7299 or if your running swing axle, you can run a bus unit that has reduction boxes and run it without the boxes, would give you the correct rotation. Or flip a ring and pinion in a transaxle.
