Kenny, you over produce everything! I'm pruning my Supremes a lot more this year.

Love RubyCrisp as well. I'm only planting RubyCrisp whenever I need a replacement.

We pull in to norfolk tomorrow morning. Hoping Harris Teeter has some in the produce section.

Kenny, what varieties of muscadines do or did you try to grow that will NOT mature by your usual frost dates. Please let me know the names so I can avoid growing them in a very northern growing region where the average frost is mid--late October. Thanks.

Hey there! I'm giving growing muscadines a second try (they died the first time because i kept messing with the soil and pinching off all the leaves). I just planted 4 new ones last month and they're looking good so far. One thing I'm not too sure about is mulching. I have a mulch ring for each plant, but my question is should I mulch the entire strip in between the plants? Would the grass get in the way of the roots spreading along the strip? TIA.

I would only mulch at most 3 feet in radius.

@@ken2ny4 ok so just mulch 3ft radius at the base of each plant and I can leave the grass growing in between the plants that are in the same row?
