I love the heritage cascade green and white BN units. Still my favorites. I grew up next to the BN railroad with those units coming through daily in Tomball, Texas.

Yeah, I miss them as well. It’s amazing to still see one now and then!

The majesty of the scenery mixed with the muscle of the locomotives is quite a combination. I didn't see yet how this mix could be such an amazing stream of TALES from the RAILS! I'm loving it, and I thank you.

Excellent video, very well put together, nice snag on the old BN Green 1456, I use to see that all the time down at SunnySide beach where I live but haven't seen it around in a year or so, guess it's working down there now in Portland etc... Also cool to see a TriClopse still out running the rails, those are getting more and more rare! Really good stuff here! -Ken

It’s definitely the best BN engine I’ve seen still running! Amazing considering how long BNSF has been here!

Those rebuilt AC6000 units look so good when they are clean! I have always loved the lines those had on them, a shame they weren’t more popular.

Yeah, that second engine is just about as cool itself! A very rare consist these days!

Great video. I'd love to get up that way and see the coulees etc from the ice age floods and the Columbia River gorge. Well done.

Some cars just don’t seem to ride smooth the quicker a train moves. Older cars especially. I noticed that too! Good catch!

Is that rocking gondola at 7:25 something that a conductor doing a rollby inspection would radio to a train crew about? Doesn't pass the eye test.

Possibly. When a car is behaving like that, slowing down might be needed. But yes, that’s just why we do those roll by inspections! Good question.

They had just met a train the other way, and the tracks go from 2 mainlines to 1. Crew change will come at Portland.
