Hi Matt, just so I understand, if add an APP to the unallowed Apps, does that prevent it from running completely and totally block it? Or, only in the File Path Exclusions you/I create?

Can you use the Microsoft 365 E5 Information Protection and Governance license? I'm using that right now and I have everything else reading in properly but the policy restrictions arent working on my test laptop

Is the onborad process linked to the onboard to Defender ATP? Or is it a second one ?

Great question. There are two ways to onboard a device to endpoint DLP: 1) Use the on boarding script at compliance.Microsoft.com (and push it out via SCCM, AD,etc) or 2) Onboard the device to MIcrosoft Defender for Endpoint and that will automatically onboard the device to Endpoint DLP

What about MAC ?

Endpoint DLP is only supported on Windows 10
