    Wayne, love your videos..I like to watch them and get pumped up for some M365 but...still looking for those $6 DC's however...

    haha 🙂Thanks Ifitservices3833! The $6 DC's are out there. 👍 That being said, it's rare we use DC's at all anymore though even when we rehost VM's in Azure.

    Wayne: Doesn't safelinks and safe attachments come as part of business premium? What SKU is $2/month more a month or can you buy Defender for Office 365 P1 for $2/u/mnth?

  • @Xerillion

    Yes, though not everyone gets or needs M365 Business Premium, and so as a standalone, that is what I was referring to.

    I do have a comment on fingerprint and facial recognition, those are not the best sets of security. But they can get you by. Make sure you have a way to get around said recognition when they fail.

  • @Xerillion

    @Xerillion

    I think they work really well. I happen to have both the facial recognition and the fingerprint scanner, and then the backup would be a pin--just like your smart phone. And of course there is the password. Still, the less we have users tapping in passwords they same way they have for the past 30-40 years, the more secure our systems will be. I believe it is another case of mid-career IT managers like me getting comfortable beyond what they are used to deploying.

    @@Xerillion you know what I can respect that. When I look at it from a Mobile perspective using any finger or facial tech doesn’t seem smart if your dealing with a bad employee. But then again when you combine MEM :) kinda don’t matter :) wipe and move on

    And, not every laptop has compatible camera for Windows Hello

  • @Xerillion

    @Xerillion

    @@andersontapetti8420 you are right! Not *EVERY single laptop* made today is compatible with Windows Hello. But what does that statement and line of thinking do for you and your company's IT modernization...and your own career? I'd say most laptops IT managers buy are based on what they have always bought with a lack of confidence in making true advancements in their IT security because they don't want to deal with the stress and worry of losing their jobs...or retraining...or they cannot get the experience they need working on a single computer network. Anyway, I'd suggest instead of using the mindset of 'not EVERY laptop supports Windows Hello' use the mindset of 'what do I need to do to setup my company with Windows Hello because I think it is rediculous that my personal smartphone has more advanced security than how I setup my company's corporate computers'.

    Wayne: I thought that the E5 security addon requires an E3 license and not available for the business premium sku. Is that true or did MSFT lax the requirements for that? --Tracy

    Good question! You need one enterprise subscription and then you can apply the add-on to non-enterprise subscriptions.
