Does anyone know if the ocular lens of a Nikon Model SE can be removed to be replaced with a digital sensor? I wanted to buy a second hand but wasn't sure if I can use a digital sensor. Thanks

I bought a small printer table to keep my microscope on so that I don't have to carry it anywhere whenever I want to use it. The table has wheels on it, so I just roll it under my model railroad layout to put it away...

At first you call the scanning objective the 4x objective and then towards the end you call it the 5x objective. Does anyone know which one is correct?

Why would anyone put mascara on their ocular lenses? Why does a microscope have two diaphragms? One on the light source and one in the condenser...
