Ben Atkinson just bought SEHT headset this week

What an epic video, mate! This just shows how capable modern MLA's are, right? Try to do this formation with that RV and a C22? 😋 One tip: when shutting down the engine, switch off the mags with more time in between, so #1 off, wait 2 to 3 seconds and then turn of #2. This will save the condition of the gearbox of the Rotax 912, especially the 100 hp version with a lot more compression 😉

Hey thanks Jolmer. How are you? Yeh they really are...ha - in a c42 he’d be hanging the RV on its prop a bit more. Yeh that’s a really good point I was taught that in fact, but I think I was a bit eager to jump out and get bacon....my bad! This is the 80hp one, but the skyranger has the 100hp - must leave it a little longer!

If I was hungry, I'dd do that too? 🤣 I wasn't told that by my instructors back in the day, but one of the mechanics at Drachten told me that it saves the life span of the gearbox, so from now on I'm slow with the mags 😋

Great channel. Would love to see a video about joining a flying club or syndicate. There is lots of information about the cost of learning to fly/ getting NPPL, but it’s harder to find out the cost of the hobby once you have passed NPPL.

Hey Ben another great video. You really do need to get the A20s back! I have set myself up with a cost effective noise cancelling headset for my passengers. Bought a set of Bose QC35s on eBay. (I use them everyday for music and videos so in effect they are free 😊) then added an Avee Mic which turns them into a Bose noise cancelling headset. Works really well. Fits all sizes of heads including kids. There are other mics available but the Avee fit is simple and really good fit.

You are going for it weekly content, wish I had the time to get half that :-) and edit it :-( Not so much you keep up with RV as RV managing to slow down enough for you to stay with him, that me with everything (except flies that seem to like to die on my prop and screen at the mome). Another great video and good save from the cross wind gust at the end.

@@ForFunFlyer A big thumbs up to anyone who works and can produce the content and edit it on a weekly basis. I think I would keep some content back for the poor weather when content is hard. That said I am struggling to get enough flying content that is worth putting up (so will stick to putting up videos as and when they are ready).

Hi Ben, Another cracking video, nice to pass the time watching - would have been nice to have seen more of the other aircraft at Turweston. Are there many aircraft out and about flying at the moment? It all seems fairly quiet overhead except for the military, Atlas', Globemasters and 658 squadron Augusta 101s (wink, wink). Keep em coming Ben!

The aerodromes are quieter - without student pilots there. Slightly noticeable !? Maybe !! Gotcha - more aeroplanes! Easily done
