Micro Crankbait Fishing Lure Challenge

On today's fishing adventure, I head down to Gas City, Indiana to fish the Mississinewa River again, but this time with a box of micro crankbait fishing lures from ebay. The goal? Catch 1 fish on each color of fishing lure. I once again wade the river in my waders from Frogg Toggs. The RANA II PVC Cleated Bootfoot Hip Waders. For this challenge I use my 7ft Defy Silver Ultralight Fast rod from 13 Fishing, paired with a Source X 2000 reel from 13 Fishing, spooled with 6lb Seaguar Red Label 100% Fluorocarbon line. Little lures are so much fun, used to be big on bass but now I’d rather just fish for the little fish because I somehow find it more interesting

Ultralights make everything fun
After watching yours and others videos, I've taken the micro lure challenge. What a kick it is to hook into (not always land) trout, grayling, and dolly varden on the tiniest of spoons, crank baits, and even 1/64 oz jigs. Currently using 4 lb test but almost ready to drop to 2. I've always loved fishing and you have added a new dimension to it. Thanks bro. "The tug is the drug".

ultralights are so much fun, but so hard... I just spooled 2lb test so I could cast really small lures. The string broke twice then it rat nested on me and I lost all the string (brand new spool)...

6 pound braid from xps bass pro is awesome! I tie a leader but it works with light lures great and it’s budget!
Great video. I always revert to the small square bill cranks if the fishing is tough. It widens the range of bites

I just ordered a very similar kit from Amazon hope they're as effective
I am about to buy some for the summer chubs of Romania . They should work for chub too. For $2 a piece you can’t beat that.

The original versions of those lures are Strike Pro Baby Pro, the chinese ones have bad action, well some of them

Ya I have a micro light setup With similar bait but I’m trying to cast farther I think I need braided line instead of regular line

If you have to worry about water in a reel you shouldnt use it to fish with...just saying.
