Micro bakery born out of joy and necessity during pandemic
Djosefin Maurer-Soto lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic, but discovered a passion for baking. She now runs Black Forest Bakery LA in her Los Feliz home with her wife, Marie. Her specialty is sourdough loaves - a reminder of her childhood in Germany.

I thought about doing this too, putting bread and baked goods out in front of the house and people could pay by donation. But I wasn’t confident my food was good enough, plus I have mostly stupid racist neighbors, someone would had ratted me out. Plus likely they wouldn’t have bothered. So I ended up sending what I made out with husband to give to his job (at the hospital). It seemed they appreciated it.
does it pass inspection though
Since the plandemic started I also make my own sourdough bread.
is the law that easy in the states? i mean, dont u need a license to sell anything in the streets?

I make sourdough and the process is quite long and good flour isnt very cheap. At home it costs me about $2-$4 depending on what flours i use. I know it feels like a lot- i used to feel the same- but that is the going rate and you really do have to charge that much to make a profit.
I don't understand. Why does she keep saying "her wife"? What does she mean?
I am waiting another video when she will discover men....
