You‘re talking about the other Mico. The thing is there is no point in attacking them. Because let‘s say another Mico is approaching you, then jumps. All you gotta do is jump right after they do so you don‘t get hit when they land since you‘re still in the air. This just goes on until neither you nor your opponent has any ammo left. In the situation you‘re referring to, it‘s just best to save your ammo for other opponents that you can actually kill.

i don’t think that was the reason. if micos fight, the mico that attacks first will usually lose because the other one will dodge the attack, and so on and so forth.
