Goofy bled out on that tree in 1963. Mickey missed his heart because he couldn't bare to look him in the eyes. Mickey was found dead in his apartment 18 years later by a self inflicted gunshot wound to his head, but Mickey never left veitnam. He was a prisoner inside his own mind. Mickey may have passed away in his apartment but he died right next to that tree in 1963.

I think he did because the whole thing was a flashback. He was visiting goofys’ grave in the intro, then it went back to Vietnam.

The pan flute fills me with sad nostalgia for some reason, does anyone else feel that? Maybe related to playing DKC games when I was a kid or something...

This theme made me tear up and the goofy's speech MAN it was tough . Mickey was willing to die for his country , But Goofy was willing to die for humanity. Look I'm not a humanist, not in the slightest but this unwanted chain of events scarred me . Mickey NEVER made it back home...

Mickey was a good soldier, Goofy was a good man.

They made Metallica's One even more depressing.

This feels so futuristic and sci-fi like to me like that humanity has fallen and the robots control everything and the last person thinks “when did this happen? When did we lose touch with ourselves?” And then he dies and the last of humanity is gone. I dunno random shit that pops into my head. This is good to fall asleep to as well.
