It’s often said of late that Bret Hart’s matches are “timeless” in that they are still fresh and relevant (true). I would argue the same for Mick, in my opinion if you got a time machine and brought mid 90’s Foley and brought him to 2022, if he wasn’t immediately signed by a major company he would probably be world champion in Impact, GCW or NWA.

If your reading these comments Mick Foley, (Just for the fans sake on the podcast), I know your using these guys real first names and putting the pictures up when telling the stories but, maybe the first time or so you can say Im going to call whoemever by their real name or the name that you know him as for ex, when i say Leon thats Vader for everyone else or something like that... I say this cause it took me a minute like whos Leon, even tho the pics came up but it took me a second to catch up (how would i know that ya know). Sure we'll be able to put it together but it makes it a little easier to understand. This is the 1st podcast Ive seen but Im stickin around. -Rah T.

Imagine working at your job having no idea how much money you would be making from month to month. The whole business model was leveraged so badly against the wrestlers: people down play guaranteed contracts but given Vince could pay you as little as he wanted, they were a necessary evil. Plus, for the record, WCW was giving guaranteed contracts way before Hall and Nash. Just watch Jim Cornette's 1989 and 1990 timeline videos. What changed is WCW started winning so Vince had to give guaranteed contracts to compete.
