Mick should never have had to feel out of place in a match. He might have been the hardest working guy in the history of the business. He became one of the most successful wrestlers in history without having the advantages the a lot of the other stars had. He had to work twice as hard, but he did it. I can't imagine that there are too many people then or now that do not have the utmost respect for him. He might have deserved to be ther more than anyone else in that match.
Mick said he didn't belong in the match...way to little credit for yourself, with all those stars in the ring, mick is who I cared about seeing most, and most that watched the show with me felt the same. There may not be any bigger gem than Foley in the history of pro wrestling. Much love brother.

The match was good. The only strange thing is how it ended.
huge fan on how this podcast is presented, how he looks to the side feels more like a real interview as opposed to staring into a camera

Yeah I've noticed that since the beginning and I think it's done deliberately to make it feel like a interview format. I like it..

What a quality dude
The background is ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL. The guy has half and ear, the positioning is awe full and just makes great content look cheap.
Also, his first book, the 'have a nice day' biography is the holy grail of pro wrestling books, just amazing, must read.

Mick’s and Bret Hart’s book are basically required reading for fans of wrestling

@@EvanB9487 yea, I mean it's an epic, like 500 pages, but the stories in there were my first intro to the crazy behind the scenes look at the business, and the road stories, incredible. Paperback's like $6 online now bc it came out 24 yrs ago.
I freaking hated how Mick lost that “I quit” match to Flair.

He had an out. He only quit because flair was going to mame the girl, can't remember who it was, with the barbedwire bat. So if he were to lose at least they did it in a way that Foley only did so to protect a woman.

@@josheisert8380 it was the way that Ric dominated 75% of match leaving Mick defenseless and sobbing “I quit Ric! I quit! I quit! I quit!” only to have Melina betray Mick the next night on RAW by giving him a low blow AfTER he literally kissed Vince’s ass to save her job. Stupid.
God I would love to meet mick , what a privilege that would be.

Another guy I would love to hear stories from.
Can you imagine Brock apologizing to you for anything? Guy could burn my house down and I’d still be like…no, sir, I’m sorry for my house burning the hair on your knuckles.
Brock and Mick could've been huge in my opinion.

Brock didn't need Mick, as great as it would've been, Brock was a huge hit from day 1, Orton, Edge, HHH, Taker to some extent, Kane and The Rock... all hit new heights after they fought Mick, almost like he was a mythical gatekeeper of some kind.

Can you ask Mick about his friendship with Kevin James from King of Queens? It’s my understanding they were friends since high school. I always thought that was an interesting connection there.

I didn't even think Kevin James was as old as Mick.
1:21 what’d he say?? I can’t tell.
Mrs Foley's baby boy
Ric is a pr/(&!! Dumps on anyone who questions him. Mick is humble and grateful
i always thought it was pronounced DAY-US
Well that thumbnail was bulls hit
I doubt Mic will talk too much shit about Flair to his son in law that's giving his career a boost... I'm joking I love these guys!
did he even talk about it lol?
Always hilarious how he whines about Flair not doing anything with him when he was back doored in as a jobber. Flair had far more important things to worry about.

Mick Foley did far more for the business than Flair ever did... Foley entertained everyone, Flair's most memorable wrestling matches were his hardcore match with Foley and the match where he finally retired and fucked off. Flair also called Teddy Long an n word during his time in WWE. The guy is a shithead.
