Hearing him talk about Evansville like that blows my mind a bit. It isn't a small town by any means, but it is still unexpected. Here is a guy who has been all over the world in the biggest stages there are and were (because half of them don't exist anymore) and yet somehow he recalls that stadium were I witnessed my first live wrestling show. Bless him.

"It was like you were looking around for the popcorn guy so you could do a job for him too". Man, Cornette tells a great story while making it sound funny as fuck too. He's one of a kind...

The best part of getting over like this as a heel is that essentially you just built a guy impervious to the win loss record. In a fans head they are just thinking "lose already so I can see that spot!' otherwise it takes a HOF level career to make you that impervious.

Cactus jack and max payne should have been huge. They dropped the ball on them , just like they did the skyscrapers

I remember seeing a young Cactus Jack in World Class(Von Erichs) with either Gary Hart or Skandor Akbar managing... we had World Class on either Friday or Saturday nights and Mid-South on Saturday afternoons. **thumbs up**

Mike Smith Sure, but he lost. You could say he was a jobber to the stars. He may have fought Sting, but he wasn't Sting.

Wait, come on you guys. Clearly Richard knows what he's talking about. Obviously from how certain he sounds in what he's saying, there couldn't possibly be anything more to it.

I absolutely love this whole conversation but, I find it a little ironic that Jim Cornette is calling out Jim Barnett for living in a previous decade.
