Mick Dodge on the move
Mick Dodge, along with Rachel Flower and Ila Barlean, lead 21 Jr High students at TEA / Tahoe Expedition Academy in 9 sessions of Earthgym training Sept 2015.
The Earthgym is a practice of fitting into the land. Mick learned this from his time in the forest with Master OGee (Old Growth). Movements with sticks, stones and straps reawaken your ancient body memory, making it easier to understand how to walk the Middle Path, between the Tame and the Wild.

Mick is with Gabu and they live at Huckleberry Lodge in Forks WA. You can go visit him and Gabu!

Gabu died last year. Mick now lives in Montague CA - restoring wild habitat and creating the Art of Olding, with a line of barbells that look like the shape of molecules

Thank you so much! I truly would love to be able to meet you one day and to eventually be a part of the forest dweller community! I need to meet the barefooted sensei in person!!! I currently live in Florida right now, but I eventually plan on moving to Washington state and I want to survive off the hoe just like you do!! I'm 19 right now and I plan on moving when I turn 20. So please mick, if there is anyway I could meet you please let me know because you have inspired me and truly changed my life. Yoish!

Mick and I co-created the designs for clothes that made sense in the woods and last through everything. I, Jacquie, am a leather designer, and part of my contribution to this quest was the clothing
