Congrats Michigan State!

Coach Izzo means a lot more than just a basketball coach to the MSU community. When we had the campus shooting last year, his speech was the One that calmed everyone. When everybody was at a shock and lost, he was the lighthouse for us. God bless him and his family. We need leaders like him to represent positive energy for the Spartan nation.

Nice ceremony; particularly the video displays, but I'll be honest, hearing coaches final words be "...and don't be surprised if we make that NCAA Tournament, alright!?" was kind of a less than inspiring sendoff. It's a bit baffling to even understand how they became a bubble team headed into the last couple of regular season games. Having said that, I really do enjoy these ceremonies and it's great for the fans, players, families, and staff.

How are you an MSU announcer but cannot pronounce “Lupe Izzo”

That's how they've always pronounced it. Every time I've heard someone refer to Izzo's wife they've pronounced it "Loopy"
