It's so cool to see Muskegon represented. I lived there for many years before moving to Texas. I worked at the park in 2001 and have many fond memories of my time there. Fun fact. At one point during my season there, I got the interesting experience of seeing a wedding taking place on The Shivering Timbers from my perch at the top of the Logger's Run. I very much miss being in Michigan and really want to revisit this park!
Welcome to pure Michigan! Last time I went there my parents and my sister went on the shivering Timbers and I decided to take a train to the other side of the park. And keep in mind I was like 12😂😂
5:20 Ford T-Bucket (It used to be a Model T, but is just heavily modified, and fitted with a modern Ford engine)
It's been 6 years since I've been to Michigan Adventure, even though I live 5 minutes away lol. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!

Same here bit kids go alot
A Grand Rapids native here, happy to see you experience Michigans Adventure! I used to go every year as a kid, and the Wolverine Wildcat is the reason I will never ride another rollercoaster in my life. As a kid, I was very tiny, very lightweight. I rode that coaster with my father and my seatbelt came undone, and I was pretty much being held down by father the entire ride. All they had back then were seatbelts and lap bars, and the lap bar never entirely reached my lap, so it was a terrifying experience. Fun fact about shivering timbers, it’s the 4th longest wooden rollercoaster in the world. It consistently makes the global rankings list as one of the best wooden coasters in the world. It’s also the fastest wooden coaster in the state topping at 57-60mph.

Those were buzz bars back in the day. All PTC trains had them - some still do. Coaster enthusiasts WANT airtime, something you can't get with the more modern individual orange bars like Cedar Point has. A seatbelt was all that was needed - you weren't going anywhere. :)

Heard shivering timbers is very rough ride and leave u in pain
The other dogs- Spike, Olaf, etc are Snoopy's brothers and sister. Male blond kid is Schroeder, who is obsessed with Beethoven. female blond kid is Sally, Charlie Brown's little sister Sally and who is in love with Linus. Damn, that Zebu took it personally. LOL

@@jokermebad31 Yeah, we've always been pretty big Peanuts fans and have most of the DVDs available. Spike definatley appears multiple times, do you recall any others besides in the Reunion one?
Who would have thought videos of a cool guy visiting amusement parks across the US could be so relaxing 😌😎
I grew up in mid Michigan. I haven't been to Michigan's Adventure in at least 20 years! Thanks for bringing back memories.
Muskegon Michigan native..I used to go all the time when it was Deer park funland ✌🏿❤️💯
Hope you enjoyed Michigan's Adventures and Muskegon. We were very happy to have you. Please return anytime. Plenty to see. Huge fan here.
I live in michigan the last time I went to michigan adventure I ate a bunch of mushrooms before and it was AWESOME! 🍄.
My all time favorite is the “tilt-a-whirl”, so much fun! Thank you Jacob! I enjoyed watching your adventure. 👍😊
I grew up in this area and remember going to deer park fun land when I was a kid

Remember the "Octopus Ride"
I can't imagine going to an amusement park and only riding a swan.

Shivering Timbers really is one of the wonders of the coaster world. It shook the industry when it opened.
Haven't been to Michigan's adventure in probably 10 years, I miss the simpler times. Thanks for the nostalgia!
That little hot rod is called a T-Bucket. Super cool!
Thunder hawk was moved there from the former Geauga Lake Park in Ohio.
Welcome to Michigan. I was just there recently. I love Michigan's adventure. Been going there since I was a little kid.
The other dogs (Andy, Olaf, Spike, and Marbles) are Snoopy's Siblings. Also the two blond kids are Schroder (Piano Player and Beethoven fan) and Sally (Charlie Brown's little sister who has a crush on Linus, referring to him as her "sweet Baboo").

'He's not her sweet babboo...'
My brother and husband is good at claw games. But the Carpet Bagger brings me joy 🎠🎡⛲🎢
Just took two teenagers to Canada Wonderland Wed. My grandson and his friend. That place is huge with 16 roller coasters, two kiddy lands and restaurants all over the place...
Welcome to Michigan Jacob. The peanuts little girl in pink dress and blond hair is Sally, Charlie Brown's little sister, she always calls Charlie "Big Brother". She has a crush on Linus who she refers to as her "Sweet Ba-Boo". The blond boy is Schroeder who loves to play classical music on the piano. Lucy has a mad crush on him. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Michigan....I know I saw one video where you did a piece on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Thanks for your fun work!
Thanks for taking us along today, Jacob!
My first ever job started there when I was 15 worked there tell I graduated high-school the good Ole days glad you got to come up and see the park.
the claw machines are rigged because the claw doesn't actually clamp down with any force. That is why it rarely picks up anything and even when you do pick something up it always falls off!
Glad you enjoyed Muskegon.
Omg!! I live like 10 mins from there! So blessed you gave us a visit!
Love this park. Went here before

A hot rod,a t bucket , a rat rod, lots of names for that car Love your adventures in amusement parks
Would love to see you do both the haunts at dorney park and knoebels this year
On your Canadian thingy lol. USA uses more vinegar in its ketchup where as Canada uses more sugar. Also that “oh that goat but him!” Cracked me up. Aggressive guys
Love the Charlie Brown and Snoopy theme. I was born in 1956 and love that '56 Chevy.
OMG Spike! he is Snoopy's Brother from the Movie "The Girl in the Big Red Truck" it was weird but I remember loving it as a kid
Those are snoopy’s siblings! Thanks for the video.
I was laughing too hard when that alpaca or Llama walked past you with his nose in the air and his mouth open. 😂 Like ugh what is that? 🤣
12:04 i can't quite tell what the guy in the background said but hearing the beginning of carpetbagger laughing makes me smile. (at least i think its him) getting an honest laugh from a stranger is always such a nice feeling :)
We went there a few weeks ago It did nothing but rain the whole time
Michigan's Adventure gets flack for not getting new rides, but boy did Cedar Fair really turn this place into a photogenic place to be. Good for the families.
You are about 2 hours south of where I live. My wife and I watch your videos all the time.
Just visited here for the first time ever, and it was fun!
The irony in going to a Peanuts-themed park: Charlie Brown can't kick a football held by Lucy and Jacob can't win at claw machines.
Son and I give Mellow Yellow our votes!!!! Hubby said beer! Lol. We live about 45 minutes from MI Adventure. We would have come hang out with you! Next time! 😊👍
Aahhh my home town good ol' pure michigan
Have been to Michigan Adventures many times as a child. Good times. But there wasn't a snoopy/peanuts theme when we went - so idk when that started. Loved the roller coasters. We used to go on the cork screw over and over. Looks like it has changed some - but it has been about 30 yrs since I've been there! Lol
I've been there. Fun time. As a kid, we used to go to Deer Park Fun Land all the time.
i used to live in grand haven! ugh the memories this brought back 🥲
Thanks Jacob and I'm catching up with yesterday's video too 🙏 I laughed at the lamas moving their heads and trying to get at the food 😂 so cute and funny 😊 Best wishes ☀️
This is a great place. Glad you came to Michigan's Adventure. It is a fun time. Also thunderhawk is really good.
Fun video tonight. Loved the animals.
What a wonderful place!
Welcome to my home town my sister lives right up the road from the park!
This is local to me! Love Michigans adventure! Go every summer
The Shivering Timbers is the World’s third largest wooden roller coaster! I’m surprised they didn’t tell you! My name is Lynn Glaser, and I came to the petting zoo as a 13-year-old from Des Plaines, IL, with my mom and dad; three brothers; and grandma and grandpa from Chicago as well as an aunt and uncle and cousins. We stayed in log cabins overlooking White Lake that my husband and 3 daughters purchased in 1973 and owned for 47 years. Visitors to the White Lake Area can still stay in those same log cabins because we sold it to a young man a couple of years ago; they are now called White Lake Log Cabins, rather than Glaser’s Glenn Log Cabin Resort. I haven’t been to the park in years so I really enjoyed the tour! The White Lake Area, Muskegon, Tri-Cities, Holland, Ludington, Pentwater, Fremont, Newaygo, and Grand Rapids Chambers of Commerces should link your video to their websites!! You should let them know about this tour!! Have a blessed day!!
At 4:20 from right to left on top row: Schroeder, Pigpen, Sally Brown, Marcie, Linus Van Pelt, Schroeder (repeated), and Lucy Van Pelt. Second row right to left: Sally, Franklin, double Marcie, Schroeder again, Lucy again, and Peppermint Patty. All canon Peanuts characters. Not shown: Frieda, Violet Gray, Eudora, and Sherman.
I live a couple of miles away from there so it's neat to see it here!
I can remember going to deer park funland when I was a kid. Not sure why I haven't been back in many years.
Always love jacob vibes 😆
I loved coming here as kid during summer vacation! Amusement park and water park in 1 day. Over 30 years ago.... Francis is going to rage if he hears about the dew! I hope he does! 🤣
I am giving this a rewatch because I am in Michigan this week, and am taking a detour over to Michigans Adventure in a couple days. I don't know if you have been to Frankenmuth, MI for this channel, but there are a lot of things to see and cover there. I think you'd be able to do an entire series of videos for the channel in Frankenmuth. Bronner's Christmas Wonderland is something to behold.
I live an hour from here. Always went there as a kid. Just went in June also.
you didn't even talk about the huge water park that they have there! MI Adventure was about 10 minutes from my grandparents' house when i was growing up so we went there often. It has really not done much of anything since Cedar Fair bought them out. I still do go almost every summer there though. :)
Wonderful Place On the list now. Thanks for taking us with you. Hope you enjoyed MI
Another great adventure with Jacob the Carpetbagger.
I love when you come to Michigan ❤️
I just love Michigan adventures 😂❤😅
I came here to watch TCB scream on roller coasters 🎢
Alpacas are smaller. They have to be in a pair bc they get lonely. They hummm. Very sweet. My favorite 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
Its fantastic to see you in Michigan again Jake! Great video as always!
Time for you to start attending claws anonymous.
Pure Michigan! I live in the Saugatuck area of Michigan.❤️ Snoopy is my favorite. My furbaby Louie who sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December reminded me sooo much of Snoopy. If I went there, I'd be crying because I miss my furbaby Louie so much.😔🐾
Fun Vlog. You should have named this video "My take on different flavors of pop!" Always love your take on everything. Just a suggestion on Cedar Fair Parks for Halloween... Kings Island has a great one every year and has topped many lists of seasonal haunts at the parks.
I grew up in Wyoming Michigan. I use to go to that amusement park all the time. From the time I was 6 years old (1974) to the time I was 17 years old (1985) I went there every summer. The Corkscrew was the first roller coaster I ever rode.
Welcome to Michigan. Stop on over in The D and ride the Giant Slide at Belle Isle.
Welcome to pure Michigan. I’m from traverse City and i hope you enjoy the Michigan adventure and I am so glad that this is your first time coming to Michigan. I love going to Michigan adventure when I was a kid and it was fun going to.
I think I was working that day you were there I was mostly between the train and Wolverine Wildcat
That car was called a T-bucket. Popular hot rod of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s
Welcome back to Michigan
No way!!! Exciting to see you so close
Michigan Native here! So glad you came and visited our beautiful state and Michigan Adventures! I used to go there a lot! Was so much fun! If you need any other places, then I recommended Mackinac and go to the forts and Bronners as it’s one of the biggest if not the biggest Christmas store in the world and it’s open in the summer time too
So I reside 15 miles from Grand Rapids, (yes like the ride) Minnesota & I've never been to any of the Amusement parks in Michigan even though I lived in Po Ho (Port Huron) for a few yrs - I enjoyed seeing the Charles Schultz Peanut Characters 😍 they use to be in the Mall of America in Minnesota & fittingly so since Mr Schultz was from Minnesota - Thanx 4 the entertainment & info - Keep On Keeping On
Oh I love snoopys family!! They are real characters!!
Mt. Dew or Mello Yello....the correct answer is Ski! Also, the blonde kids from Peanuts are Sally and Schroeder....plus you forgot Franklin on the lower shelf.
Taking my kids there tomorrow! Hope its fun!!
If you’re trying to do all the Cedar Fair parks, it’s almost essential you hit Cedar Point! It’s their flagship park and it’s definitely the best park in the chain if not the country. It is considered the roller coaster capital of the world because of how amazing their ride collection is! I’m glad you enjoyed Michigan’s adventure, it’s smaller but definitely worth it for Shivering Timbers.

Rides are better at cedar point, but it is not the best park in the chain. Kings Island is a better park than CP. KI was recently voted #3 favorite park in the US in a poll earlier this year. CP was #6. Like I said.... CP for the rides, hands down. KI for the better park experience. I consider both parks as my "home park" as CP is just an hour drive for me, and KI is a 4 hour drive. Been to both parks over 20 times so far this year, as we are platinum pass holders. The best part about living in Ohio is having these 2 parks in your state.

@@Spike-sk7ql Kings island is great too, almost neck and neck for me. I feel like kings island lacks the resort atmosphere that cedar point has tho, CP feels much more like a destination compared to kings island with its location and the boardwalk. I also feel like kings island needs that true standout ride to become the best in the chain in my opinion, but park atmosphere and operations kings island has over cedar point by far. I also think kings island has live entertainment too in the fireworks and parade. But cedar point has the edge in my opinion for rides and location overall
Sally and Shroeder
So awesome to see you coming up here to visit Michigan's Adventure! It's usually overlooked considering it's so far out of most everyone's way in the states. I visited just last year and it seemed pretty underwhelming. The arcade was shut down and none of the monitors in line for the rides were running at all. I'm glad to see the park waking up again! Although I cannot confirm this myself. Here's a fun fact I've heard a time or two about this park. before being bought by Cedar Fair, and slightly after building Shivering Timbers (The largest roller coaster in the state). They planned to build a very large and possibly record breaking steel giga coaster to compete with Cedar Point's Millennium Force. Although I have no proof whether or not this was actually planned, there appears to be a large plot of land cleared just behind the train tracks that I've always wondered about. I believe this is a sign that they did at least plan to expand the park further at one point in time.
Deer Park Funland and they had live deer to pet. I grew up in Grand Haven MI going to the park every year.
Need to go to Mackinac Island and go to the forts.
The two blonde Peanuts characters are Schroeder and Sally, Charlie Brown’s sister. Knott’s Berry Farm had the Corkscrew Rollercoaster back in the 80’s. It was my very first rollercoaster. Great memories. Orange Fanta is also my favorite soda.
Been to Michigan Adventure a few times. Need to add a new coaster now.
You have to visit Carowinds in NC!
I’m loving these regular uploads and amusement park videos so much! The rides look awesome :)
That is a Rat Rod usually built with T Model FORD COUP but people use plenty other models to build them.
Heh I live about 5 miles away. I remember deer park well. For many years after they changed the name, most locals stuck with the old name.
Love it 🥰
It's been about ten years since we have made a trip to Michigan's Adventure, but it is still my favorite park. I prefer Melow Yellow too!
Many Cedar Fair Parks also have Winterfest events too.
I'm so glad you stopped by my state's theme park! I'm going there tomorrow, and I am a big fan of all the Roller Coasters (even the small ones!). One of my favorite parts was the petting zoo and the Carnival Rides. I wish I went a week earlier to have a chance to see ya!
Not me laughing over the llama scientific name
CarpetBagger! Wild mouse is my speed of rollercoster. Its for kids, but adults can ride. I know you hate them too trust me, its not that bad!
