I must admit that Ariel has done tremendous job with this visit to Jackson/Wink gym and all the interviews with the fighters. I was waiting on material like this for a long time. This is what MMA media should be all about.

+mortivoe cuz fighters can do different things against different fighters... penne did what she does against waterson... wrestler her n grind her... but waterson saw an capitalized on an opportunity. joanna is a striker, thats all she likes to do...stand n bang... joanna threw penne off her game... but waterson can strike with the best if she's able to implement her game plan. I see her as stiff competition for joanna and I see joanna stiff competition for waterson if they meet... it would be a good fight.

Michelle is probably one of the most attractive fighters, and very talented. hope she heals up

Always an absolute pleasure to listen to Michelle talk, she is so well spoken and interesting...and also happens to be super attractive which is a nice bonus. Hope she heals up quick as she's always exciting; hopefully UFC recognises how popular she is and really promotes her, no doubt the Conor V Aldo card would have been a big moment for her, but other opportunities will come by, just look at Holly, she went from two lacklustre wins, then people thinking Ronda will kill her and now she's a superstar making big $$$.

Agree with all of this. Dead on. If Michelle ever became a dominant UFC champion, she would make Ronda's stardom look puny in comparison.

I love her. I can't wait to see her fight, and I hope her and Joanna Champion do eventually clash. But they're both amazing people so it's rough... I was really looking forward to this fight, too :(

sanshinron I know what you're saying, but Michelle has a style that does allow the possibility of some success against Joanna Champion. She might get smashed, maybe she probably will, but she may not. I'd love to see how Joanna beats her more than I care about the actual outcome; if I'm wrong and she wins somehow, I'll be super impressed. Jackson/Wink are training her for this fight, they coach Jones and Holly Holm as well... that's not nothing.

This whole gym just seems so classy.

OMG I really love this girl

I injured my left knee training Wrestling too. Unfortunately my knee was never the same again. Hopefully Michelle's injury it's nothing too serious.

its so disappointing almost every second fighter pulls out of fights due to injury

Amazing fighter and incredibly strong woman - in more ways than just emotional/mental. Such a shame as I was really looking forward to their fight, and I think the strawweight division was one of the best idea's that ufc came up with: they certainly are much more interesting than 125 men's division. Even if it's an unknown female fight, name wise (but I know most of the notable names), I will go out of my way to watch that then a lot of the s***y men's fights they [the ufc] have been putting on. Arial has done an amazing job with all the extra interviews/footage. Probably, best mma journalist; only just behind, for me, Luke Thomas: I never miss either of his shows and he candid insight, in depth, intelligent observations and his gsoh make him a great addition to all the other mma journalists, which can't give credit enough (sorry, can't list them all; only two (!)). Thanks. P.S. Impertinent, I know, but she is one of the sexist women/fighters in the world. WOW! And her little girl is adorable and so cute - and most kids are either really annoying or little s**s.

You would think the ufc at this point would have back up fighters for all the big fights in case someone pulls out.Like if Aldo f pulls out then have Franky for back up.Fuck they have enough money to pay them.The person a ufc has too fear is them self seeing as how than can injure them self more than actually fighting some most the time

mali mall She's waaaaaaaaaaaay to small for Holly! Holly is a big 135er who cuts a lot to make that weight, while Hottie is a small 115er who moved up from a smaller weight class. That fight is Never happening, plus they're bet friends.
