Very informative, A great leader with a true vision for a United Kenya. He has the same charisma as JFK and Martin Luther King Jr .May Kenya come to live in his ideologies soon. I was privileged to visit his mausoleum back in 2005 during his 2nd anniversary. May he continue resting in peace.

When I met Wamalwa Kijana in Eldoret town in 2001 he had to see the late Ken Wafula at Muya house. I shook his hand with a bukusu greeting. As he answered he said translated,, kumbe tuko huku wengi... He asked to be shown Ken's office. I walked him to Ken's office and as I passed our office I made everyone aware of that. I was shaking as we walked the stare case. A great man.

@@yobrabrayo you seriously think kanu would have lived forever, why can't you think this way, if they had united earlier on and supported each other then they would have assumed power early enough than it took while he was busy dividing people just that he could be seen, that time we had brains in politics in Kenya that could have done something great unlike now the future of the nation is uncertain.

Raila Odinga beat Kijana Wamlawa in 1997 election. He even defeated Kijana Wamalwa in all Luhya districts apart from Trans Nzoia and Bungoma. Kijana Wamalwa was a good leader but not a strong politician. None of those things you wrote would have happened.

I remember this time, politics made us look forward to watching news. This was real POLITICS. We all had a common enemy not like now politicians insist on divisive politics RIP Kijana Wamalwa.
