Michael, my sweet son died October 30, 2023, he was 7. I will never be the same, and sometimes every Christmas I will cry. I am just 28 years old and never thought of going through a broken marriage and the loss of my son. Thank you for this beautiful song.

Praying the Lord's endless healing, peace, hope, comfort when needed & this for all at all ages for coping best with such deep agonizibg pain & anguish. Cry out to God. To get all help possible & necessary. Praying the Lord's amazibg grace & mercy for all involved & for others in the world who experience any of this.

Please cling to Jesus and stay in God’s Word. During my most devastating seasons when I it was difficult to even function, the Lord is the Only One who kept me going. He sustained me. He kept me from suicide. He eventually strengthened and healed me through His Presence and His Word. He worked through a Bible study called BSF, Bible Study Fellowship. An in-depth study of His Word with other women from different denominations, all focused on God’s Word, listening to the Holy Spirit. Unbelievably to me, I have purpose, peace, hope & joy. I still have deep grief and heartache from all of the losses and changes. But the verse from Psalms has proven true “ the nearness of God is my good.” Without Jesus I can’t imagine how lost, broken, bitter, devastated I would be. Please dear sister, pour out your heart to Him , keep running to Him, because He is big enough, wise enough, strong and loving enough to bring you through with hope and joy.

When your children grow up and you lose both parents. Christmas just not the same anymore 😢😢😢

BOY this song hits home. My husband, patents, grandparents, cousins & childhood friends gone except in my memories. & I cry 😢 ❤❤

I grew up listening to Michael W. Smith and want to hear more of his songs in these days where we have feel-good and me-centered songs being spit out by the likes of Bethel and Elevation.

Lost my Dad Christmas morning...died at home in my mothers arms laying on the couch. Every Christmas since, I stop and take a moment to say I love you, I miss you and I wish I could have you here if even but for a moment.

We found out last Sunday that a dear family friend died of altimmers she lost her husband a few years back. & now her kids who are adults lost both of there parents.

Yep, as you lose members of your family, it's never the same. 😢

After all these years, Michael, you’ve still got it. Great song, brother.

I was also a teenager when I 1st heard.your music now I am 45 years old and I have been to alot of concerts and just 1 Christmas concert @ the fox theater in Atlanta GA.

So happy I could see this in person it makes me cry everytime

Beautiful and tis true for me as I remember the many Christmases with my late husband of 61 years. He loved the season passionately in all aspects. Those memories do catch me by surprise often.

Everytime I need to pray about a 3 year old kid in my class room because his mom left him @ the center until 9 pm and they called his mom and she said that she thought she had him. How can you forget about your child. He has been saying that his private part is big and now he is saying that it hurts when he pees.& he is going frequently and has wet himself and he is potty trained. Please pray for Gregor.
