This routine was the reason I started it all. My whole life i've dedicated to magic and its craft, and it was watching you perform this on Penn and Teller: Fool Us. I remember emailing you asking where to start, and your reply is the reason I have the friends i have, the career and the memories in my life. Thank you.

If you get any dislikes for this video it's because people are absolutely scared of you. That is other worldly. At this point I don't even practice magic but I am getting inspired by your videos. Generally what I've been doing is playing your videos for my parents who are both in their 70's. I love the reactions, especially my father has when you've performed one of your miracles. Jaw dropping is all I can say.

I believe it’s because you love them, you love my self expression and you just want to share the joy and spirit of magic. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for people like you. This routine is Legend and I remember reading about it in very early books like The Amateur Magicians Handbook (at 16) and practicing and practicing and doubting it would "work" for a spectator. Of course, as a Legend I had never seen it performed and only had my limited (at the time) vision of the trick. The use of the glass is a beautiful idea and truly gives a "hands off" feel to a very "hands ON" routine. Simply (and I mean difficult) wonderful. I recently watched Larry Jennings do "slapping the aces" and I think that I was always OBJECTING to the "slapping" idea. I love the way you caress the cards rather than abuse them. Thank you for a magical experience!

Wow,! That was a lesson in card mastery. This has inspired me to come up with a killer routine I could build my reputation with. I was thinking along the same lines recently about what effect I would perform if someone gave me a deck and said : show me something. It really has to be good and showcases what your capable of doing. It’s like your saying this is what I do. Funnily enough I was thinking about doing an impromptu version of Christ’s four ace routine with a borrowed deck, and finding the aces in different ways, along the lines of a lost and found patter line. ( I was lost, but now I am found ...or something similar, I’m sure that’s a line from a song..) love the line from Arthur c Clarke. And your challenge : if facing a firing squad what trick would save you. Oh gosh! Now that’s got me thinking...

Hello Michael. People like you, are a gift to our art. You have totally inspired me to go deeper in learning the hard sleights, learning the hard routines, and try to create a miracle to my spectators. To perfect things, find the moments when its best to do the sleights and so on :D Your stories about when you met your idols, ist just a gift to hear. Love it Having your vids in this pandemic times, have been such a help for me. You got me thinking every day. And I'm thankful for that! But you don't only seem to be very knowledgeable when it comes to magic, your thoughts on life are also very appreciated, and also got me thinking. (This is the first time I write a comment, so I just want to thank you with a bit longer comment ;)) I just want a bit of your help, if you can. I have it really hard with going up to people and have the confidence to ask if I can show them a magic trick. I admit, it is hard for me to get the confidence to do things like that, and it scares me a bit. Because when it does not come to magic, I'm a really open person and like to talk, but I think I just need some confidence, to tell myself, that I'm good enough to show this. I just wanted to hear your thoughts of getting the confidence, to go up to persons, and just show them a trick. Your thoughts and some books or other sources will be really appreciated. Sorry if my comment is hard to understand. I'm not the best at English, but really try to do my best! :) Keep up your work Michael, it is FANTASTIC. Have a great summer, to all who reads this! Best Regards Emil

RE: Four cards appearing on four different backed piles. What do you call this? I need to know it. Where can I find it! 🧐

Outstanding commentary and performance. Crazy thing is I know some of the moves u do and still cant see them or any flashes on .25 speed. I don’t know the move where u transfer aces from middle to top and bottom and vice versa. Thats the main move of the trick and I can’t think of how u pull it off. One of the coolest tricks I’ve ever seen, and your routine is mesmerizing and all praises. Thank you
