i don't get why so many people hate on him. seems like a nice guy despite the octagon antics, and there's obviously strategy to those. plus they're entertaing

Impressive debut. Truly happy for MVP. Very exciting addition to the roster. So surreal seeing him do that in the UFC. 💯

Seems like a really decent guy. He said himself that he winds people up to cause frustration and mistakes. That is just a fighter strategy. I hope to see some well matched fights for him in the UFC.

People saying he shoulf fight Wonderboy need to be realistic. Wonderboy just got hammered, while their styles might make a good fight, career wise beating Wonderboy wont do much more than beating Holland. Its a side step not a step forward.

MVP isn't going to be champ; he can't compete with the top wrestlers. There's a reason he hasn't been in the UFC. Dana even alluded to this in the press conference when he said something about match MVP up correctly. Wonderboy, Garry etc. These are the kind of matchups he should have. Even Holland took him down, done damage and won the round. Imagine what the top fighters in this division would do. There all wrestlers with the exception of Leon, and Leon's wrestling is way better than Hollands.

MVP has never taken a lot of damage. He could well fight beyond 40 if he chooses. Coming in late like this, I think belt contention may be unlikely but he has years of excellent fights left. I keep wishing the UFC would feature at least one "Legends" style fight per card. Guys who are veterans and not really in contention for a belt, just match the styles to give folks a good fight.

Still worried about his grappling.

By fight he means like trading with your opponent. But MVP doesn't do that, he chops you up instead of "fighting" you. If that makes sense
