I'm 33 and still single. A couple of relationships that didn't work out, but I understand how hard it is to watch your life go by and feel like you're really missing out on something special.

I think most men that have not been married and don't have children wish they would have at some point. Being a father is not always what the Lord wants of us, but it is a great gift to receive.

This is like me, only I decided to put it in God's hands when I was younger and realized I wasn't making the right choices on my own. I've been thriving and happy on my own, but there are times I'd like to have someone to share it with. My heart is always open. Plus, the truth is not everyone is made for marriage, and that's ok! Keep your heart and mind filled with God, and just take care of yourself, be happy.

You may want to study your Bible more in depth about deception. The Pharisees were great at convincing others of their "honesty, yet Jesus called them out on it. Maybe you should look up Rich Mullins name. He was a Christian entertainer, and is the composer of the song "Awesome God" sung now by Michael W. Smith. Rich Mullins truly was exemplary in his leadership respective of the Christian walk. Just saying!

Well he just hasn’t met me yet ;) lol j/k Well he did, but that was in the early 2000’s at an IYC in Denver, CO. I have followed DC Talk for years and was so excited to see him perform. I bought his CD “Tait” and he signed it. I remember sitting in a hotel conference room listening to him give his testimony and I was in tears. Wonderful human being and has always stayed true to his faith. ❤️

I couldn't have said it better myself. I always thought Tait was just waiting but if he considers himself a bit selfish in that regard, then I'm truly not alone in this. What a blessing 🙂

He said it himself. He has a tendency to neglect a woman when he's not interested in her at the moment. I can relate because I'm the same way. In my mind, people like Michael and me stay single late in life because while we may want a partner and kids, we tend to choose our selves and enjoy our own company more.

I'm 52 and single not by choice either. My husband decided he did not love me after we were together for more than 20 years. I've stopped asking why and now I am enjoying simgle life....immensely. I saw the Newsboys United in Reading, Pa and after they were done playing they stayed to sign autographs for certain people and I was blessed to be one of them. He liked my tee shirt I was wearing that was inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:13: these 3.remain faith hope and love but the greatest of these is love. God bless this band and their family.

Michael, I have thought of this just as you have. Know that you are not alone and there are women here with the same thoughts and wonderings. I am trusting God, just as you are to either provide me as a wonderful Sara or keep me as a “Paulette”. It’s about stepping out of the world’s expectations, as well as our fleshly ones, and constantly turning it over to God. I had a life situation involving a best friend’s death leaving her husband and baby behind. Many, many encouraged a relationship between us, but that was not what God planned. I’m so glad I leaned into God and HIS plan. I’ve never been so transparent on this subject, wow. So, just saying women face this same question and the simple answer is listening to God. Very interesting! I had always wondered why Michael never got married yet and had kids of his own. I do think he'd make a great dad. But this makes a lot of sense, and I respect him for that. It's not easy to put yourself aside in that way and try to live life in a mature fashion. God calls some people to singleness, and there's nothing wrong with that. He's certainly been able to accomplish a lot thus far through the power of Christ!

I think he THINKS he wants to get married because it never happened for him, but if he ever actually got into a relationship he'd realize he's better off single. Some people are happily single but because of their friends or societal pressures, they feel they have to get married. If Michael married early on he probably wouldn't be ministering to us through music anymore or as much. We think we know our future selves but we don't. We usually end up proving ourselves wrong. I say this cuz I'm single and I want to get married but Im the very same way as he is: when I want to be with you, that will happen but when I want to do my thing, DONT get in my way LOLOLOL. He says in the beginning it is not a choice for him or has not been a choice for him. I can only assume he has had many choices of women including Christian model and producer/entertainer Mari White. But I think they dated quite a while ago like around 2011 he said he was gong to pop the question but presumably never did. Because its 2017 now. He is somehow on a path god wants him to be on. He has choices galore but still has not found the "one". I hope he finds that person. It's not too late for him at 49 because he is male. Females yes have to worry. But all he has to do is marry a much younger woman and he can have kids so I don't see his issue here as valid. Men can have kids for forever. I think the truth really comes out at the end,,,, he's just selfish and he can't find a woman that is ok with just being around only when he wants. That's a tough one I guess to get over for him. But his honesty is certainly showing. He's where he truly wants to be. God bless him. Not everyone is called to marriage. He is a special man. A black conservative republican rock/pop Christian singer that lives for god is truly a rare thing. And yes he is a conservative who said he was for Ted Cruz for president in an interview. Tait actually asked God for a woman past the age of childbearing requiring a miracle from God to produce children. Also, confirming that he has found "the one." I never thought of it until I had a recent dream in March 2018. Searching 4Franky "all he has to do is marry a much younger woman?" At the end of the interview, Tait says he would be "Abraham" and asks God to send him a "Sarah" In the Bible, Sarah was past the age of childbearing or menopausal. God performed a miracle (like the Newsboys song) and reversed her menopausal state so she could have Abraham's child. I hope Tait really believes in miracles because he asked for one.
