Fact, but Lulu fans are going to be severely hurting when they consume this knowledge….. the absolute GOAT can develop a car to win championship’s, Senna, Prost, Schumacher, and lots of others made a difference when they joined a desperate team, Lewis just took the seat at the right time when the real work was already done…. Yes it’s still amazing to win 7 championships, but it’s not impressive when you didn’t really have to do anything and just enjoy the massive advantage

Love him or hate him, the guy brought Formula 1 and Ferrari to another level, no doubt... To accomplish what he did after the legacy that was Ayrton Senna is a huge achievement in itself. That level of impact on Formula 1 has not been replicated since by any other driver including Lewis Hamilton...

even tho hamilton is very great he will never be remembered as the driver, mind and genius michael was, michael was faster and added much more than just driving to formula 1 he shaped the era we are in right now because of his mind and intelligence he was around constructors and engineers and was discussing upgrades for his own car and was very meticulous about every detail to optimize his chances of winning he had much more knowledge than nowadays drivers (without disrespecting them of course) but he was truly one of a kind and everybody who loves formula one and automobile will always remember him and never forget him. Michael was also on a different level in wet weather conditions... It was his dominance in the rain which set him and Ayrton apart from every other driver to date... You are entitled to your opinion but opinions aren't necessarily fact... What is a fact is that Michael also won races in cars that were deemed very difficult to drive like the 1996 Ferrari...
Wow, that's so powerful and meaningful. Schumacher dedicated his first F1 Championship to Ayrton Senna. Imagine the battles Schumacher and Senna would've had throughout '94, and possibly throughout '95 and '96 had Senna lived.

@@RAZGR1Z I am German and was laughed at by Schumi fans, back when I told them, that there is a possibility that Michael never had won a championship, without Ayrton Senna dying on day after Roland Ratzenberger... 94 Senna 95 Senna 96 Senna 97 Senna So by 97 Schumi would have 0 titles. Do you think Ferarri has had signed him, without a single title? I dont think so... But then there would be the possibility that Schumi signes in 1997 at McLaren, because of his ties to Mercedes... Maybe he would have won the 98 and 99 title of Mika Hakkinen... No matter how, like you said: We were robbed by awesome battle on track... Schumi vs Senna would have been awesome... And if you add Mika and Jaques to the mix and you got 97-00 with an aging Senna, a prime Michael and prime Mika and Jaques... I would have loved it for sure... Senna was my idol... Kinda still is... I was 9 and was karting because of him... I had a bad accident two weeks after his death... I got scared and hung up my helmet for good and switches to my second love: Ice-Hockey... I sitll miss Senna... Still could cry, if I think about it... Seeing somebody die on TV at the age of 9 was really hard for me... And he wasnt anybody to me... He was one of the few men, I looked up to...

@@chrisbee9643Schumacher would have been seen like how Max was seen during Mercedes’ dominance. Obviously extremely talented, and able to galvanize the entire team to support him. Jean Todt would still want to sign him, and Schumacher would still want to bring the important people from Benetton like Ross Brawn with him since Todt was reorganizing Ferrari anyway. I personally do not see the Ferrari juggernaut not happening, even if Senna had lived. You also forget Frank Williams was notoriously cheap with drivers. He pissed of many drivers for refusing to compensate them for being successful. There is no guarantee Senna would have stayed there until 1997, or in F1 at all.

He, along with Valentino Rossi, truly are some of my idols. While at times highly controversial and in some seasons clearly helped by a car that was simply better than the field, he always kept it real, pushed as far and hard as he could and battled with so many greats - Senna, Mansell, Alesi, Hill, Villeneuve, Häkkinen, Montoya, Räikkönen and Alonso just to name a few. His never-say-die additude pushed him, as well as the Benetton and Ferrari teams, to new levels and beyond what anyone thought was ever possible. Brings back so much memories.. Micheal Schumacher's first driver's championship win with Ferrari in 2000, one of the happiest days of my life. My admiration for him influenced me in many ways in my life, especially towards my family. As for his perceived flaws/malicious actions, its a sort of a side effect of his competitiveness, as well him being a product of the Senna/Prost era when similar actions must have become examples of acceptable norms in F1 to someone like Michael at his younger age, coupled with Senna being someone Michael apparently has very high regards to. Regarding Lewis Hamilton, I admit that it would be a bit sad for me if Hamilton surpasses Michael's championships and wins. But I feel the value of Michael's achievements in F1 and what he means to so many fans of F1 go well beyond numbers.

The number 1 wet weather driver... 3. Lewis Hamilton: Still active but has been beaten by his team mates... Michael has not and Ayrton was only beaten by a 4 time world champion... placed 3rd due to his 7 World Championships... 4. Niki Lauda: To come back competitively so quickly after his horrific accident, racing in the cars of the 70’s where a big crash would almost always equate to death... Respect... His fitness and stamina made him more of a complete driver than Senna. There were times when Senna could barely hold up the trophy as he stood on the podium. Schumacher on the other hand, would stand on the podium looking as fresh as he did before he'd raced (regardless how hot the conditions were)... Whether the 94 Benetton was quicker than the 94 Williams is debatable cause I think the 94 Williams was a quicker and better car... What makes Senna and Schumacher the greatest F1 drivers? Their exceptional wet weather drives, this is where they totally dominate, nobody comes close. As long as Senna and Schumacher are at the top of peoples lists, I won't argue as to who was the best. Personally I prefer Michael but that is just an opinion...

As they were both driving superior Rothmans Williams Renault's (also Williams' best livery), the race should not of gone down to the wire. What Michael did was not right but it was instinct to win and you cannot blame him for trying to win. World championships come around once a year so to be fighting in the last race with an inferior car against the best car of the field, who wouldn't? The bragging rights alone should be enough reason! Michael would of never brought a championship down to the wire if he was piloting the best car, although boring for fans, Michael would of won the championship ages before the last race.

You could see that for instance in the finale of the 2016 championship when he basically started to threaten the double victory for Merc, just to have a last desperate chance for the title. I understand that he doesn't like to lose, but what he showed their was just childish. It's also interesting what Nico Rosberg said about Schumacher and his determination to bring the team forward. Schumacher gave even input about the behaviour of the car and how to improve it after his last race in 2012. So basically he helped the team to build a car he very well knew he would never drive.

@JR422 000 No. Hamilton never built a team from the ground up. Never won a championship in a season where his rivals had equal machinery and where he fought tooth and nail. The one time he had a rival in equal machinery in 2016 he was exposed as mentally fragile and given to accusing the team and letting go of his frustrations in public. He did it again in Sochi just last weekend. Hamilton is not great. He may be better at designing clothes and being an activist than being a pure racer.
This may be a tribute piece, but it's odd they didn't cite Hills '96 victory, which halted a potential Schumacher winning streak.
This man is my hero. Every time I watch this I am brought to tears to think that the man I grew up watching who I idolised, the man who did so much is now bound to a wheelchair and unable to see how much we miss him. I know there’s probably a very little chance that he would ever read this but Michael thank you for being a brilliant driver. For teaching me to give my all every race even when all seemed loss. Teaching me that there is always a way even when it seems like there is no way. It’s weird to think that such a man can have an impact on someone’s life but Michael is a hero. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
pure genious and a workaholic. one of the greatest sport icon ever
Michael Schumacher is Formula 1
Every winner has this view that they've got to win, sometimes at all cost. Schumi, just like any other human being, is not perfect. He made mistake, adelaide 94, jerez 97, monaco 06, hungary 10. But what he did to Formula 1 was unbelieveable. Sure the domination was boring, but when you saw it through the rose tinted glasses, it was such an amazing career for him. #KeepFightingMichael
Imagine a world where Michael was OK and could have been a Team Principal now. I want to live in that world.
18:55 Really like the fact Ron Dennis got a replica :D ..Coulthard´s best victory for sure haha..
Amazing seeing these clips again, brought back a lot of memories.. ty.
I started watching F1 in 2007, so I didn’t really know about Michael until his 2010 comeback. I’ve just recently been learning that he really is the 🐐. Legend.
The man The icon The legend and most importantly, the greatest
Thank you for posting..... #KeepFighting !
In the Spanish GP in 1996, Michael was in a bad car 🚗 it was so bad weather I think 🤔 it would be cancelled today. He was magic. He was so exciting when he won Murray always said it. Thanks Michael for all the good times. Winner winner legend MSC
Schumi is for ever. #keepfightingmichael
The greatest off all time wonder how he is now
Michael schumacher of the king Formula One World Championship
Couldn't stand him at the time as I was a massive Hakkinen fan but I miss Michael like crazy now. I didn't realise what I was watching in the late 90s and early 2000s but that era was very special indeed and I look back on it with great fondness.

All the way around for me, huge Michael fan, couldn't stand Hakkinen. But seeing Hakkinen now on old videos makes me a huge fan and miss them both racing.
Everytime I watch this documentary, I start crying!
I watched the U.S Grand Prix live at Indianapolis with my late father in '05. A memory I'll never forget.
Thank you so much for uploading this special video.....this is just absolute GOLD.
I've never been more emotional than what I was at the end of this film
You can say what you want but back in the 80's-90's F1 was another Beast! I would go so far that to me the Adrenaline stoped about 2009-10. I don't really can explain that. Could be that i am getting old and that i don't understand the new Battery Powered F1. All i have to say is: Thank you for all those great Years! Mika, Kimi, Schumi, Alonso and of course the Man that started my Passion of F1 Ayrton Senna. Thank you!

I am jealous of you sir. F1 definitely was more raw and inspiring back then.
Mika vs Michael was the most respectful fight for a title, I have ever seen!!!

It's not the driving it's your enthusiasm hormones that blunt with age.

@@leart78 Truth hurts but yes. Let’s just hope people 20 years from now his Legacy/Impact from F1 is still remembered everyone. Yes he is very conventional driver but he was one of the greatest athletes in human history.

Lewis is at a stage that he has achieved everything ..7 championships..even planning to retire and suddenly you have this past teammate now with a fast car whos hellbent on getting even with you 🤣 and then you also have a young Russell to handle .🤣LIFE IS NEVER EASY FOR A CHAMPION in Formula 1
Watching this reminds me of my youth. It is a shame about what happened to this guy.
Great film of a remarkable man
Schumacher was like the guy F1 was waiting for. He was on one level instantly with Senna and Berger and all the other guys. A miracle.

A cheat
A ledgen of F1 he will be missed from F1. Grew up in the USA as a kid watching him on tv win race after race. He one made me love road racing. He took chances every time touch the track. Some times they worked some times not. But when they did it but smile to ur face.
Congratulations for showing the highs and the Lows. This is the best documentary I saw about Michael. I just whish, Ayrton and Michael would have had a bit more time to compete. Idols for every Motorsport Fan. Legends. Nothing to add to what has been said. Kudo's for collecting so many facts and emotions
We love you schumi ❤️
Schumacher the true king of f1!
