I’ve always been a Roldan favorite. From my perspective, he was still on the canvas when the 10 count was reached. Regardless, he was in no condition to go on and the referee would have stopped the fight had he beaten the count or between rounds. RIP Juan Domingo Roldan 🙏

Totally forgot about Michael Nunn from back in the day, but I still remember Roldan. Tough as nails and gave all the top fighters like Hagler and Hearns fits with his awkwardness and underrated punching power.

It's crazy Roldan fought everyone! M H stayed away from the new wave! He let Ray mess his head up! Or he just didn't want to fool with Nunn Toney or Jones! Sometimes know when 2 say when!

Nunn was in superb condition for this fight. He basically outlasted Roldan who was still coming forward early in the round in which he got knocked out. Roldan was just tired. He wasn't badly hurt.

He's been dead for 4 years. Juan was a terrific fighter, very courageous. Always gave an honest effort in the ring.
