Ive made this comments before, This is the Bruno that could have been developed into a special beast, his basic fighting style was correct, using his jab as a pivot for those lethal uppercuts and hooks...By 1984 the damage of Tibbs poor development was clear, too heavy bulk, overusing the left lead and his movement affected as a result...He should have refined this style, worked on defence/movement...George Francis did good work with him later, improved his inside fighting and his left jab became more fluid, learnt to use his strength to negate the opponent and his hooking to the body was always world class...Yet the damage was never entirely corrected...

You can watch full matches and clearly see Bruno took fewer punches to put a person in trouble compared to those guys and to stop them. The average opponent couldn't even brawl with Bruno because he hit so hard, did you know that?, whereas the average person could earn, and as I said with both George and Earn, the average person took multiple shots before falling from clean shots. Example Oliver vs. Bruno watched the first round very easily. Bruno was jabbing as soon as the match started. Oliver couldn't just trade. A man known to be real tough, he was flinching from jab weak shots clearly not loaded. Multiple times in the 1st, no round in that match did oliv go toe to toe able to brawl with him when they were face to face. Example 2: Mike vs. Bruno: A man heavier than Bruno never stood toe to toe trading with him face-to-face. In the second round, he was caught multiple times by him and hurt very easily. He was dropped by a right cross very easily. Example 3 Bruno vs the first Mike last name Jameson First hard shot landed clean hook in the 2nd by bruno and jam is frozen and then falls, any match where earn hit somebody with his 1st hard shot against somebody in the 2nd and they fall?

0Norton vs. Earn Ken took multiple shots in the first, just standing there in the corner. Larry, the 2nd toughest person, fought in the in the 1st round. Earn catches him with a right; they even say it was the same shot that caught Ali. Earn was hurt but not in danger, then earn catches him 2 times after 1 was clean, then the next grazed. Larry shocks it off easy. Earn keeps hitting him with weak shots, hoping to land his best punch on his right. The weak shots don't seem to do much damage. 2nd right, not long after it started, Earn catches him with his cross clearly clean, yes, hard. Larry wasn't in trouble at all, then Larry gets caught again. Clean wasn't very hurt. These are only examples; I can name many more from multiple matches. As I said, it's no match where the average or big name person, even when Bruno wasn't fully loaded, was throwing weak shots even where a person didn't feel those. It's no match where the average person just brawled with him face-to-face and tanked his shots. It's no match where Earn fought a man as tough as oliv who tanked Bruno's legendary jab loaded. So no earn didn't hit close to as hard. You're going off of some myth created years ago by people who were lhw, who weren't that tough, and who weren't used to people who were heavy and with good tech. I don't like bruno style, never have, and I don't like earn, but I can clearly see that bruno shots, as I explained, are much higher than overrated earn. It's very easy to see that what I said isn't made up, as I have no reason to make it up. Earn power just wasn't the same, not when I gave it to you. Even him just throwing weak shots wasn't the same as weak shots thrown by Bruno. Also giving you how the average person didn't even brawl with bruno but they could with earn, very obviously the person wasn't willing to go toe to toe face to face because they knew they would be koed. You can't go off of some record or quotes; you have to go off of your actual reaction to punches, as I do, and earning doesn't crack the top 20 hardest hitters. Multiple people leave out how Larry took multiple shots from earn loaded and weak shots; they always talk about that shot that dropped him. What about all the others? No way would Larry be able to tank Bruno. I know this for a fact, not when oliv, who was really tough, who was used to being hit by people with way better tech, and who was heavier on average, couldn't

How about Henry Kept taking mutiple grazed crosses from earn which as I said was earn hardest shot that was in the 2nd match First match was worst Henry took clean mutiple clean crosses agian earn best punch No match ever fully loaded did bruno/mercer ever have mutiple small hw just tank their best shots If you can alter video of everything I said go ahead and try with words they mean nothing to me You have no video proof at all to go over anything I said which is all from video you troll/robot Which mean none of those outdated ridiculous quotes you seen other followers use doesn't work on me,you can't change all those things I said exposing how earn power wasn't like bruno/mercer on video, quotes can't alter footage proof

Does anybody happen to have footage of Jerry training for this comeback? The only thing I can find is a few quick clips that were included in part 2 of the Jerry Quarry documentary with Bert Sugar. Would love to see more televised footage of that if possible.

I've watched boxing for over 50 years, and never seen a British fighter more talented...he didn't fight hands down to disrespect his opponent, but because of he held his guard up it disturbed his balance..apart from his incredible skill level, of equal importance was his patience...he could do nothing for 3 rounds, then see an opening and detonate a howitzer..rest in Peace champ...never forgotten...I salute you sir

I remember hearing this fight on the radio ad a boy, and when I was 12-13, I started boxing. My first tournament That I went to won my first fight just using my left hand. I don't remember ever throwing the right. Henry Cooper reminded me of my fight, although he used the right hand, not that much, he didn't really have to, he did all the damage with the jab. Two great fighters of their day, And I loved the sportsmanship of two of them AF the fight.
