Wait, one of these guys predicted Yankees in 5? Really? After seeing what happened in the regular season and watching the Astros sweep the Mariners? That’s a fan’s prediction, not a professional broadcaster. Even if he’d been right it was a bad prediction.

Yankees need to built a team to beat the Astros, they shouldn’t wasted all the money on one player . Don’t sign Judge for no more 7 years 225 million. The Astros were in the same situation with Carlos Correa big contract demand and let him walk. Astros GM James Click knew re-signing Correa would cost the team resources that could instead go toward building depth and got Jeremy Peña.

I’ll be honest as much as I love the Yankees and I’m a diehard fan I’m tired of the excuses whenever they lose because at the end of the day these guys are right when they say that the other team has to deal with the same circumstances in the ballpark that the Yankees do. If they perform better, then it wouldn’t be an issue, and nobody would have to worry about the dimensions and the wind in a ballpark. And Don is right when he talks about how if the Yankees had played better than the Astros in the regular season then the first two games would’ve been a Yankee stadium and this would be a problem, they need to buckle down stop trying to play shareable and hit the ball with some consistency and hopefully we win game three and four because we have great pitching in those two games. But if we lose game three, then the series is over.

I'm amazed the amount of foreshadowing I've noticed in all these clips. "Analytics say a strikeout is better sometimes because you avoid the double play (skip to) but you should put the ball in play because there could be an error (etc)" ........cue Gleyber Torres winging it past IKF in to LF to blow a double play that led to blowing Game 4 😅

Aaaand that's exactly what happened lol. Didn't help that Cortes was hurt and tried to force his way through the game anyway because "well he did it against Cleveland, and that was just fine".......right.....cuz Houston is the same as the youngest team in MLB whose players are almost entirely making their playoff debut...
