Thanks Lyra, this brought tears of hope to my eyes. I'm a huge fan of the player but more of the man Michael Jordan. It's something I see in the way he walks of talks or something. But he is the kind of man I would look up to, you know, someone who takes all the responsibility of their actions onto themselves and refuses to stop pushing forward.

But also he was already in the glory in his mind. Conor McGregor is the same way- they envision themselves as victors, as champs as the grandmaster of all grandmasters at what they do. Muhammed Ali same way. Bill Russell. Bruce Lee. Kobe Bryant. All of those men had supreme gifts physically but so does everyone else at that level. What they were doing was tapping into their very essence, a consciousness-raising vibration that shook the whole damn world. I think we all have that in us, we just have to realize that we can manifest that in whatever way it comes out for each individual. It's an inward looking. MJ was competing against nobody but himself.

His first coach in Chicago was Doug Collins. They’d have scrimmages to X points and when Jordan’s team was about to win Collins would have Jordan switch to the team that was losing and Jordan would then lead that team on a comeback to win... practicing overcoming adversity 😤

Basketball was not only fun, it kept my mind occupied. It was not just a physical sport, it also taught me communication, teamwork and strategy. Aside from being a 3 point shooter (back then 😂😂), I was very good with assisting, rebounds and chasing down the ball. I love the game and it's something about that shot clock. I used all my adrenaline when it came to basketball. Track is where I started, but I put a lot of heart into basketball.🏀

When you overcome great obstacle, great door open for great opportunities for the limitless possibilities and the countless probabilities to your endless adventures to the journeys of your successes 😂😂 what I'm trying to say is when your great it really doesn't matter what you say as long as you throw positive words and message out there. Jordan was heck of a player but people underestimate or overlook his salesman and marketing skills. He single handedly build the Jordan Brand. Now after 20 some years later the Jordan brand shoes and clothes are the best and most expensive brand. wow! you sit back and you say image if this man was our president American would be a lot different(assuming he was a honest politician lol)

1993 I was paralyzed from the chest down after two grueling brain tumor surgeries. Was in a rehab hospital for three weeks and watched the Bulls and Suns play an awesome finals. Jordan and the other players inspired me to work hard. I was told to be happy if I walked again but I ended up playing full court basketball again against the kids until age 52. No matter what you’re facing you can prevail if you don’t quit.

Michael Jordan was and still is to me, The Greatest Basketball Player of All Time. All these years and decades later. Watching his highlights in games. And his overall mindset and mentality to always win at all cost. Is truly inspiring and inspirational. You don't have to be like Mike or be a great athlete. You can still have the same mindset and mentality as Michael Jordan or any great athlete. If you have the drive and passion. Then you can achieve anything. My favorite quote by Michael Jordan is "I've failed again over and over in my life and that is why I succeed." No one is perfect, but yet you can still succeed and learn through failure.

Being afraid of failure is what keeps people from working hard. When we fail, we lose hope and stop trying. That's why 'fail your way to success' is SO important in my opinion
