@VGarcia1984 Жыл бұрын
in this clip alone you can see the game starts evolving slowly as how Grant Hill, AI and Kobe crossing people including Pippen who was a top NBA defender of the 90s and Pippen was younger compared to Jordan and Rodman… and Pippen cant do anything to a young Kobe who’s entering his prime💁🏻♀️💯 crossovers are becoming a thing in the early 2000s which the old schools werent really prepared for… yeah they had Tim Hardaway and a few 90s players who also had a crossover move but that was the 90s style…
@Ryukikon
Жыл бұрын
?? Crossovers are not new and existed before that, Michael Jordan did crossovers on people and would have done it on Scottie pippen a lot. You just listed great players and that Pippen struggled with greats. The cross over is not new or over powered and was no transition in that sense.

The closest MJ ever came to having an "out of body" experience and watching himself play. You can tell how much he loved Kobe - kindred spirits. God had a small piece of very special cloth - enough to cut and make MJ and Kobe out of it. That's it. Sleep in peace Kobe and Gigi....EDIT: MJ was making THIRTY MILLION a season - back in 1997!!! Think about that. More than a QUARTER OF A CENTURY LATER - Lebron is "only" making 45 mil. That's insane. 30 mil in 1997 is the equivalent of MJ making FIFTY SIX MILLION a year in today's salary. Crazy.

@@marcoslaureano5562 ... I watched both of their primes and Kobe is not close to MJ other than aesthetically of course.Not a Kobe hater,but he wasn't capable of doing what MJ did which is why there's such a huge discrepancy in their stats & accolades even tho they look so similar...he emulated MJ technically but it was two completely different bodies and mind's at work.
Its crazy that 99 mj can still beat everyone in that era 😒🍵
MJ enjoyed watching Kobe because Kobe showed respect to him and the Black Mamba is his heir
Jordan wit dem choppa suits!!
Jordan sat there, realizing how hard it was to guard himself.
If Jordan never retired he would have had over 40,000 career NBA points easy ven after 3 years in college!!
As Kobe passed the ball to Eddie in the Houston game , I remember Eddie jones was signed to team jordan shoes . Jordan was watching Kobe and that game but also he investment too . I remember having those Eddie Jones in middle school and then wearing them in the Ohio state Jim o’Brien basketball camp .

Oneal leading the league in scoring at 26.7 pts in 2000 and today where multiple scorers are over the 30 pt level is insane. Less physical defense and game has evolved into more skilled offense
in this clip alone you can see the game starts evolving slowly as how Grant Hill, AI and Kobe crossing people including Pippen who was a top NBA defender of the 90s and Pippen was younger compared to Jordan and Rodman… and Pippen cant do anything to a young Kobe who’s entering his prime💁🏻♀️💯 crossovers are becoming a thing in the early 2000s which the old schools werent really prepared for… yeah they had Tim Hardaway and a few 90s players who also had a crossover move but that was the 90s style…
@Ryukikon

?? Crossovers are not new and existed before that, Michael Jordan did crossovers on people and would have done it on Scottie pippen a lot. You just listed great players and that Pippen struggled with greats. The cross over is not new or over powered and was no transition in that sense.

To me, Kobe was the original Lebron. Love has his own game on N64, Kobe Courtside, in 98. We were literally just coming off the MJ era and this new young kid Kobe was already gunning for MJ by 2000. The shot Kobe hit down 4 not on his list of clutch shots because it wasn't at the buzzer or it wasn't to take the lead but that shot was clutch that's why he's labeled one of the best clutch players not because he hit the shot when the buzzer sounded
Barkley played with Pippen at rockets.
What number does Lebron rock again Today 6 or 23? From off The Lakers haven't watched since 2021 Of March and when Kobe was playing when he was living on the Lakers playing.

There were a lot of lean years for Warriors. People don't realize that.
At 13:26 that was a turnover on Pippen that was great defense by Kobe Bryant that should not be a jump ball
No one at one point could defend Kobe and that’s a fact. Not even KD in his prime would stand a chance in the early 2000s which he didn’t.
If MJ would've started his rookie season with a Shaq, he wouldve won a chip by year 3. He averaged 28 ppg as a rookie. Insane
