You will be happy to know that I used your video as an educational lesson for my 6th grade grandson. Loving basketball, my grandson was impressed by Michael Jordan's skill, determination, and his character. These qualities are all great things for young people to learn and aspire to in their own lives. Thanks for posting this helpful video.

Thanks for taking me down memory lane. I remember back in the day before Jordan - players like Kareem - Earl the Pearl. When Jordan arrived on the scene - magic!!

Than in his first year back they improved by 17 games... 55w-72w. Now, to improve by 17 games is incredible for a team to do... But, to improve from 55wins by 17??? Next-Level.

@cryogenics66 Jordan: Kobe, i am your father! Kobe: Duh!!!!!! lol
He makes impossible looks ordinary...that's MJ!
the retiring thing kinda sounds like favre, but mj accomplished so much more in basketball than favre did in football
He is the reason i bleed my hands , my face , my knees my hole body for basketball.... Thank u M.J. .....
everytime i see his statue in chicago it feels like Gods cross
he has flying abilities.
whenever i hear someone say national championship when referring to the nba, they lose all credibility in my eyes. i know it's not technically wrong, but still...

@seandc31 that may be but, the future.
Never knew the Chicago Bulls made it to the National Championship 😮
master!!!
@LBJ2032 I was simply correcting the mistakes in the video...it said his last year in the league he averaged 30 something points when he did not....
3 times of retirement amazing
briant, lebron,pipen, wilkins, dtr j , bird legens but....... MICHAEL the goooooooooooddddddDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!
@GreenDayMVs what type where can i find it? i wanna grow too plz
damn rights his the greatest and im one of those kids that bought his shoes and still buying them
wow
This video needs to be slightly altered. They say at the end that he averaged 30.1 and led the NBA in scoring for the tenth time...Jordan did average 30.1 and lead the league in scoring 10 times, but not during the 2002 season like they said. Finishing up with two seasons scoring in the 20's, he managed to close out with career averages of 30.1 to go with his ten scoring titles. Simple error, but could mislead a lot of people.
Lol this speaks to the greatness of Jordan
PLEASE CAPTION!!! My deaf students would LOVE this!

I'm a huge ♥️ fan of Michael Jordan best player ever born played the game they can't and should not never ever compare no one to him their nothing in my Book Wanna bed Loosers
He never led the league in scoring while with the Wizards...and it sure as hell wasn't 30.1 ppg. That's his career avg...but the two years in Washington he averaged 22 and 20 ppg respectively. You'd think the bio channel would at least have gotten that right...
i have to learn about him in gym
WOW i dont even like basketball but that was really interesting.
@seandc31 why all the genius in history have to suffer???
His retirements remind me of Brett Favre!!!
I like him
He should of never retired in 94 and 99.
he will come back again.
he didn't get cut from his high school team, he was on the jv team and the varsity wanted to bring 1 player up to play with them and it wasnt jordan cuz he was 5'10 and the other dude was like 6'4. And jordan also grew from 5'10 to 6'3 from sophomore to junior year, that's not 4 inches. this thing isn't credible
there are actually a lot of incorrect statements in this bio
GOAT
@realrap95 it took kobe a guy named shaquille o'neal.
he didnt lead the league in scoring his last two years.....he averaged 22 and 20 his last 2 years and only made the allstar game because of who he was.That 30.1 average was for his career...none the less,,best and most dominant player ever..EVER!!!
@jeffnmj nope, when they guard him today those guys cant touch him, cause if they do, they would've fouled out by the end of the first half, so if jordan played today (in his prime) , he would be even more dominating...he was still averaging equal to most stars when he was 40..
@zelnashar I know however Air Jordan brand seems to have become bigger than Nike itself, that's what I meant.
His father died on my birthday.
RIght. . .which equation are u guys using here. .
how did he grew those 4 inches?
@Midair I think he meant to say 150 times. x 100
You would figure the Biography channel would get a a simple fact about him correct. Jordan was not a captain of The Dream Team. Jordan let Bird and Magic be captians as it was their last dance.
iamflipkid: Kobe's career average in points is 25.5, not 30.0!
How can people compare kobe or lebron to this man?
TYPE-IN-PICASSO-NO-HANDS!!
Jordan Put the Sport in Another level from Magic & Birds Day.... Up to now, kobe lebron wade etc didnt able to reach that level... Its like Brid Johnson lvl 3, Kobelebron wade lvl 4 Jordan lvl 6
@nikeaddict43 AGREED!!!! WIN!!!
3 people go for the Cavaliers
Wrong the Jordan Brand is even bigger than Nike.
'when his father died, it was tragic, it was so sad and u could feel his pain' sound like he doesn't mean it LOL
@LBJ2032 .no one was arguing the fact the Jordan is the best ever,I dont know if your Illiterate and can not read but in my comment i made sure to say he was the best ever...And yeah with the shitty wizards he did put up points but if you remember the league the way I do then you would also know that he was not deserving (numbers wise) to make the allstar game those years,the fact the he is Michael Jordan got him in,,,and thats fine..
wow, someone actually cut mj, how do you think that school feels now lol
My bday is on feb 17
@megatroll someone that always look at the stats to decide a player's effectiveness is a noobie...of course kobe dont have an advantage when we looking at the stats, but what we like is about his skills, passion, gracefulness and footworks that were unmatchable in the game right now...
People act like you can win a championship alone lol...It's a damn team game...If that's the case Jordan would of scored 100 points a game if he won it by himself...
@scrapmassa Yep, DRose is definitely getting better. But I think he carries his team alone.
It's not stats/accomplishments (which Jordan has more of) that make MJ better than Kobe. It's his story. A kid that got cut from HS team, that fact motivating him to become ultimately the greatest of all time. MJ never had shit handed to him, he earned everything he ever got. Kobe was born RICH, his dad was in the NBA, Kobe used to live in Italy and shit... from day 1 he was expected to be a great basketball player....his story is bland when compared to the greatest!
Brett Favre=MJ (retirement wise lol)
@westcoastnigga73 Playing on a bad team leads to the fact that you might miss an All-Star game, but Gasol was money right from the start. Lets put it this way: you put Kobe in an average team,and he won't make the playoffs. In fact, he will look what Tracy Mcgrady looked like in Orlando, only more frustrated and whining about trades. Kobe can win titles when paired with a solid core, or as a sidekick to a dominant player (Shaq), but not once has KB been a dominant factor in the NBA Finals.
only 50 times?? :D
@Mikesworld01 Yeah i know but you have to admit it's bigger than Nike
MJ is the best ever. but who the heck are those scholars in the interview? They should stick to dissecting frogs in the lab.
Jordan didnt average 30 points on the wizards. he averaged 30 points a game for his overall career. Learn to read stats BiographyChannel.
@Austinmp47 No one has, and no one will a Ship by "themselves"!!!! Not only is it too difficult. But for those that are truely that great, their game elevates those around them. If you can't do that, you ain't winning.
@megatroll Well, Shaq was the reason for the first 3 titles, you could've easily replaced KB with Ray Allen or Mcgrady or a similar player and the results would be the same. However Kobe is more valuable than Pau, but Pau should have been the MVP of the 2010 Finals. Kobe was horrendous in the decisive game, and only had one really good quarter in the whole Finals. For the greatest closer today,he sure is average during the playoffs.
I love America
@jeffnmj this is also a dumb comment im a spurs fan kobe could tear up bowen but michael jordan would easily beat the defense of today
hahahah how did they get a guy with a PhD from Columbia to talk about MJ
@seandc31 only 5o times?
@seandc31 Only 50 times?
I hope derrick rose keeps getting better and stays humble so I can see his biography on here.
@dimaggio1324yeah he is still the greatest even if he wasnt alone and if anyone could do it alone it would be him
ohh shit kobe is in the video4:37
ohh shit kobe is in the video4:37 hes number 8
3:04 "Below average Bulls" Are you kidding me? Michael Jordan was the greatest ever but the Bulls were still a good team without him, they even made it to the Eastern conference Finals when MJ was still playing baseball.
@ronaraullo jordan brand is made by nike
